🌹Shu, calm down🌹

This chapter is very early in their relationship and right after they moved in together
Third person POV

Kokichi and Shuichi were about to watch a Kiki's Delivery Service before Kokichi tripped and dropped his glass of grape Panta on the white carpet, breaking the glass and causing stains. Kokichi was able to just laugh it off and get some cleaning supplies when Shuichi started yelling at him.

"KOKICHI WHAT THE HELL!? UGH, THE CARPETS COMPLETELY STAINED!" Shuichi screamed. Kokichi just sat there with a understanding smile,
waiting for him to finish. Kokichi understands that Shuichi thinks it's normal, Shuichi just came out of his second abusive relationship and his dad would treat his mom the same way as they treated him, so why wouldn't he think that the only kind of relationship he knew was normal, even if it was far from it. After five minutes, Shuichi seemed finished.

"Are you done?" Kokichi asked. "Huh?" Shuichi says, confused. "I asked if you were done." He calmly responds. "Y-you're confused, you know you're supposed to yell back!!" Shuichi yelled, much more quietly than the first time. Kokichi takes his boyfriend's hand. "Shu, it's not normal to yell at your partner. I understand why your brain is wired to think it's normal, but it's not, it's far from normal." Kokichi says, pulling Shuichi in for a hug and Shuichi starts crying. "I'm sorry if I ever hurt you." Shuichi says with a wobbly voice. "It's ok, I forgive you. I love you and I don't think you'd ever want to hurt me on purpose." Kokichi says with a soft voice, gently rubbing his lover's back.

"I should probably clean that up." Kokichi says, pointing at the broken glass and purple stains on the floor. "No, I'll do it." Shuichi responds. "No, I dropped the glass, I'll clean it up." "I exploded at you over it for no reason, I'm cleaning it up." "No, you need to relax, I'm cleaning it up." "How about this, I clean the stains, you clean up the glass." "Fine by me." "Ok, good."

They clean up the mess, Shuichi gives Kokichi a new cup of Panta, and they watch Kiki's Delivery Service finally.
