"Are...t-they....gone" a panting Taehyung questioned once the group had stopped running away from the bats.
"I think so" Rosé replied once she did a look over, then sighing in relief at the sight that they weren't there.
"Great, we're gonna die." Lisa wailed in distress as she collapsed on the floor.
"No we're not, we'll get home right?" Jungkook says as he tried comforting the girl looking back at the group, who only had lowered their heads.
"See? None of us know if we'll go home, or if there is even a way home. If that moon person isn't here, how do we know we'll be fine? Is there even a home for us to return to at this point?" Lisa said, and at this point tears were brimming in her eyes.
"What of all we're doing is for nothing? What if we're going to.... Just die here? And no one will even know what happened to us.." Lisa continued as tears started streaming down her cheeks.
"Hey hey listen" Jennie stepped in once she noticed, placing an arm on the girls shoulder as she crouched down.
"If there is a way in, there is definitely a way out somewhere. We just have to find it. Moon Vance? Was Moon Vance a group or was she an individual? We have more people, we have each other. You'll always have me. We'll get out of here, we'll make it home. We just have to try okay? You will get home. I don't know when, or how long, but we will go home. I'll make sure you go. I don't care if that means risking my life for you, because I'll do
It in a flash. No hesitation. Trust me, we'll make it" Jennie said as she pulled the frantic girl into a hug, letting her cry on her shoulder, as she comforted her."We'll go together right? We both will be home and things will go back to normal right?" Lisa asked with hope as she looked at Jennie, who couldn't respond.
She just offered her a weak smile before pulling her into her embrace again, hiding the small tear slipping on her own cheek.
Rosé just stood there, observing the two, seeing how much they cared for each other, the fact that they had such a strong relationship made her see that all the rumours were nothing but false.
"We'll all go home. All of us" Jisoo spoke up herself, as Jin gave her hand a squeeze.
"Well standing around here isn't going to get us anywhere, let's get moving Hm?" Jimin announced with a new found motive.
"You're right, let's go" Hobi said with a smile as they all stood up, with a smile and began moving again, with Namjoon taking the lead this time.
They all started walking, down multiple different paths.
"Do you think we'll make it home this month?" Rosé asked Jimin who was beside her.
"Yeah, I do. I think we definitely will, a forest can't be that big right?" He asked rhetorically as she smiled at him, slipping her hand into his.
Truth be told, almost everyone knew that the pair liked each other.
Even though the misunderstandings kept them apart, they genuinely would always talk to each other and click.
They had basically grown up together, both of their parents were college friends.
Because of that, every Sunday they would be together at church, and usually would go out to restaurants or any other places later.
It isn't a lie to say that they certainly had experienced intimate moments with each other, because they have, but nothing too serious as they weren't in a relationship yet.
Meeting up at each other's houses was normal, and it would have been a shock for them to not have feelings for each other.
Jimin had smiled at her action, as he interlocked his fingers with hers, as they stalked further into the forest.
"They're cute" Lisa remarked from behind, seeing her friend and ex bully holding hands.
"Aren't they? But it's getting annoying now, because they are still not together. Like come on, everyone knows they've kissed, hugged and are literally holding hands right now. What more could it take for a relationship?" Jungkook said, annoyed by how long they were taking.
"A relationship isn't only about actions you know? There's feelings too. They must be confused, or still not ready. Thankfully it isn't a one sided love, they both like each other. I bet they both know that they like each other too. At least they don't need to take the hurdle of confessing, while some of us still need to face it" she sighed remembering her own stance and watched his footsteps being parallel to hers.
"Yeah..". Jungkook sighed unbeknownst to her as he looked at her as well.
"Guys! It's getting late. Let's make camp for tonight" Taehyung told the group, seeing the sky shift it's dynamics again.
"Okay!" Jungkook yelled back towards the front, seeing that's where he was.
But that was a mistake, as it attracted energy, and unbeknownst to the group, a creature had charged right at them.
Jisoo was in the line of attack, but she, just as the rest of the group, didn't know about the upcoming animal, which was huge.
Just as it was about to pray on Jisoo, or perhaps even the person beside her to the side, a hand shot out and touched it first, as it disintegrated into thin air.
The group who had now realised what happened faced the back of Jennie, whose hands were emitting a purple glow, as she sat down tired.
Jisoo had just realised that Jennie had saved her life, and once she snapped out of her shock she was about to approach Jennie, who weirdly hadn't turned back yet.
"Dont!" She exclaimed just as Jisoo was about to take a step.
"Clear out. Now" she said, giving Lisa a look, who nodded and began to force the group out of there, but close enough so Jennie would know where they were.
