The group had managed to cope with the loss of Jennie some way or another, as they proceeded into the forest and had a routine of just searching and camping every day.
"Guys we're almost out of canned beans" Jimin said as he set down the remaining ones along with the others.
"It's fine, I'm able to tell which fruits are okay to eat now, we don't need to rely on those anymore" Rosé said as she put down a pile of fruits on the ground as well.
She had been practising for a while, and just managed to get it right.
Lisa had become a lot more closed off than before, and Yoongi?
He was just silent.
Losing an important figure in their lives was taking a toll on them, evidently.
"That's great! Thanks a lot Rosé, now we don't have to worry about food and water at least" Jisoo commended her, as Rosé smiled.
Namjoon had taken charge of the group, deciding their paths, and where they would camp and what not.
They had been dealing with attacks, but they'd managed to fight them off themselves using their powers.
Rations were made every night, healthy ones that too, and that's how they'd been over the past few days.
"Okay, let's pack up now and get going?" Namjoon announced asking the group, who cooperated and began to move again.
Walking past multiple branches, they came to a stop when they reached what seemed to be a log, they would have crossed over it under normal circumstances, but instead the reason they stopped was different.
There was another few bones sprawled out in front of them, but these were of one human.
Human.
"What the heck..." Jimin sighed at the sight of it, almost tumbling back.
"Who's going to look at it?" Jisoo asked, not wanting to be close to it.
"I say Hobi hyung should" Jungkook suggested, getting a dirty look from the said man.
"Oh my god I will geez" Namjoon said rolling his eyes at the group, as he walked forward and crouched in front of the bones.
"Its definitely a human, some bones are missing too" he commented at the decomposed corpse, and was about to move, but stopped seeing a book.
"Huh? How did the body decompose but this didn't?" He remarked, questioning it as he pulled it up after dusting it a little.
"I don't know, the ground is different here" Jin said as Namjoon joined the group again with the journal like book.
"It's Moon Vance's" he concluded seeing the engraved name in the leather cover of the book.
"Really? Maybe she knows where the door is!" Rosé exclaimed as Namjoon nodded and removed the strap, opening the book, to look for any clues on where there exit would have been.
"Well at least now we know what happened to... her" Lisa said, with a disturbed look at the corpse.
"Holy shit!" Namjoon exclaimed making everyone even more curious at his sudden happiness.
"She wrote the way out! It's in here! The exit is in the journal!" He exclaimed as everyone's faces lit up at the news.
"What? Where is it?" Taehyung asked coming beside Namjoon as he looked at the journal, trying to see where it was.
"Here! She wrote here that the exit is in a hidden cave, behind the only big waterfall this place has. It's apparently visible if you can get high enough amongst the trees" he says with a chipper tone to his voice, as the others had their turns looking at it.
"Holy shit! This means..." Jungkook trailed off as he came to a realisation.
"That we can go home" Yoongi ended, seeing the taste of home was at the tip of their tongues.
"Well what're we waiting for? Jimin can you turn into a bird or something and go up and look?" Jin asked as Jimin nodded, turning into a bird within a split second and flying up, looking around.
And just as expected, the large waterfall came into view, unfortunately it was farther than expected, but it was at least known to them now on how to get home.
They had a path.
He flew down to meet the expectant look on the others faces.
"She's right. We have to walk straight down this way..." Jimin said, pointing his finger to the North east direction from where he was standing, as every one faced that way.
"Let's get going now! Come on. Oh my god, we're going to go home" Rosé exclaimed, her eyes turning glossy at the thought of it.
"Just one problem, we may have to jump or somehow move this log?" Hobi said, pointing out their current crisis.
"Can't we just go around it?" Jisoo suggested, looking to the sides, but frowned when she saw one side had been blocked with another tree, and the other with boulders.
"Okay, let's start climbing! Woo hoo" Taehyung said with sarcastic enthusiasm, as he went first.
Finding his footing he placed his first foot where he could, and grabbed one of the cracks to pull himself up, and thanks to the small workouts he'd done, he managed to do so, and was now sitting on the top of it.
"Just like that, come on, I'll give you a hand" he offered sticking his hand out, as the others looked at each other and shrugged.
Namjoon went first, taking Taehyungs hand as he pulled himself up, and the two helped the rest of the group over the log, before landing themselves on the ground once again.
"Okay, now, let's go!" Rosé rejoiced as she began walking, but then paused and turned around.
"Can someone go before me, we're still in another realm you know?" She sheepishly smiled as Jimin just laughed and walked with her, and he group walked forward in the direction of the waterfall.
