Jennie lay awake on the couch as she was unable to sleep, and so, she quietly got up and walked across the bodies sprawled in the living room towards the door.

Opening it silently, she made sure to make no noise as she wore her boots and walked outside, quietly closing the door behind her.

Unbeknownst to her, a pair of eyes had seen her leave and had decided to follow, as they couldn't sleep either.

Taehyung walked behind as he saw the path she had taken earlier, seeing her figure in the distance, he found himself stalking amongst other trees in the area.

Sooner than later he came to arrive at an open area, one that had a lake in the very centre of it, just stilling there as it basked under the moonlight.

The figure sitting right at the grassland in front of it however, seemed to look more ethereal than ever, as Jennie sat there, her silhouette was lit by the same light.

He stood there a moment, admiring the view, not considering which one it was, as both sights were laid out spectacularly.

He was soon brought out of his thoughts as her voice rang about his ears, snapping him out of the trance like state.

"I know you're there Taehyung" she spoke as he faced her, and stepped out of his standing spot sheepishly.

"How'd you know I was here?" He asked her as she finally turned to face him.

"You should make it a point your not very good at sneaking around, you're pretty noticeable. Other then that? I sensed you're aura, you know light and dark energy stuff?" She said to him blankly before turning around and he just stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do.

It wasn't long before Jennie had let out a sigh and turned to face him once again, patting the space beside her as she had indicated for him to take a seat.

He followed her instructions as his feet travelled across the grass, the green mass scrunching underneath his shoes ever so softly, before he finally made it to where she was and sat down, his legs crossed over as he was seated on the shore.

"Couldn't sleep?" He asked finally after a moment of silence as he turned to face her, who was only looking up at the stars.

"Yeah. You know, the whole might not be able to go home thing is pretty scary" she said confessing her frights to the boy next to her.

"Same. But I try not to think about it. If I believe that we all might be able to go back, then it at least makes the fear of not returning a little bit less, and my hope increases, you know?" He told her softly as she nodded.

"That's a good plan. Tell me if it works" she chuckled a little before laying down on the grass, the sky now fully in her view.

"What even is the evil realm exactly? You seem to know About it the most?" He asked her as he shifted to glance at her a moment.

"Verden is.... A place of night mares. All the demons and what not, or figures that are portrayed as hell to the non magic people, are basically from here. It's a lot more societal though. But this place is dark, all the creatures have different mind sets.

They don't live in harmony or whatever, they live to survive. They're all predators, no mercy or anything.

This realm was never supposed to even have a portal to the other realms, or even any contact.

But long ago, a sorceress named Soren, opened a portal to the realm, so that she could try and comment the creatures or beings in here to take over different kingdoms of Oerth."
She told him, explaining as if she were teaching a lesson.

"It didn't work though right? Since Oerth is not full of evil now?" Taehyung asked Jennie, intrigued now as she was explaining it to him.

"It seemed to work at first, with the little creatures, but soon, the newer and bigger creatures escaped from that realm into Oerth, and she couldn't control them.

It turned into havoc. A huge battle broke out, which in our history is known as 'The fight of Zoi". It was huge, and the ministry didn't want people to know about the other realm, so it was never taught.

Only a handful of people know about Verdens existence. They sealed off the portal the best they could, which ended up in them forming a door in a huge tree in the middle of a forest.

Only now did we come to realise it was the forbidden forest. And in my guess, we have to find another way in this realm that connects to that door." Jennie continued explaining to Taehyung, as he just listened.

"So you're thinking, the other door could be in the forest?" He asked her as she nodded.

"Most likely, especially since it took a while for the bigger creatures to enter, it seems like the forest is mostly deserted so far, only small creatures. Plus, it was the forbidden forest at Oerth, it's most likely a forest here too" she sighed as she looked at him, as their eyes now connected.

"Why didn't you tell the others that?" He asked her as she shrugged, sitting up once again.

"It's because it just clicked to me now while I was thinking. The whole day we were navigating and trying to be safe, it didn't really give me time to think deeper and check my surroundings off. Anyways Taehyung, let's go back. We should try and at least sleep a little, who knows what'll happen tomorrow" Jennie told him as she brushed her pants off as she stood from the grass, offering her hand to Taehyung who took it after a moment and pulled himself up, slightly missing the feeling of her hand in his as she moved along.

"You're something, Kim Jennie"
