"Are we getting closer?" Lisa asked for the 100th time, as they walked through the forest.
"We're just 10 minutes closer then you last asked. Let's just be patient Lisa" Hobi said patting the girls shoulder, who only let out a groan at the long walk.
"Why can't we just teleport or something" Rosé let out irritatedly, and it made sense as to why, seeing as they were walking for two days now.
"Well none of us have teleportation powers for one" Jisoo said with a small chuckle at her behaviour, giving the girl a pat on the shoulder.
"Wow, these two are more alike than we've ever seen" Jin remarked, seeing the behaviour they had.
"I know, they could pass off as twins behaviour wise" Yoongi replied, as the two would basically mimic each other's actions.
Their what would have been a peaceful walk, was cut off soon.
"Gah!" Someone groaned from the back, making the group immediately turn back to see what happened, and all they saw was Hobi holding his ankle in pain, and it occurred to them it was a snake bite seeing what was lying next to him.
Namjoon immediately used his telekinesis to throw it somewhere faraway as Jungkook tended to him.
"It's deep, and it doesn't look good or normal" he told Jin, who came to inspect it.
"What the heck is this?" He exclaimed questioning as he saw black veinal formations forming near the bite, along with a sludge like goo near it.
"Move!" Jisoo told the two boys and they obliged, moving to the side as Jisoo ripped a little off of the bottom of her T shirt, tying it right above the cut and securing it tightly with a knot.
She stood up then, and helped Hobi to his feet along with the help of Jin.
She faced the group and shrugged.
"What? I took a nature course, and that's what we're supposed to do when there is a snake bite" she said as she checked to see if it was tight enough.
"It's supposed to stop the spread up to the body" she told them as she stood up again.
"See I told you snakes were good for nothing! They're evil" Hobi whined at the injury he had.
"Yes yes they're very evil Hyung" Jungkook said patting his back as they began to walk, with Hobi taking slight support from one of the guys as they switched.
"Jimin could you do route check again? It's been two hours now" Namjoon asked Jimin who nodded and turned into a bird taking off into the sky.
He came down shortly after.
"We have to turn a little left, just a little so that we don't go off course" he told Namjoon after turning back into a human form, as Namjoon nodded in response and they walked based on that.
They had now entered what seemed to be a random flower field in the middle of nowhere, as they passed by carefully.
The flowers ranged from colours of yellow to orange, with green stems.
They resembled a sunflower, but the size was way off, as the height of these flowers reached the heads of Namjoon, Jin and Taehyung, who were the tallest in the group.
The vibrant colours were arrayed in random, as there was no typical order of where the yellow flowers went, and where the orange ones were.
It was a pretty sight to look at from afar, but once you entered the field, the annoyance of them being right at your eyesight was quite annoying.
And to top it all off with a cherry, for some reason it didn't seem all too right, as they started to feel sheepish and a little drowsy with every step they took further walking in the field.
"Guys, is it just me or is the ground moving?" Jin questioned as he tried focusing his eyes by shaking his head, his steps starting to tumble a little.
"It's not just you, I think the grounds moving too" Jungkook muttered, clutching his own head as he felt faint by this point.
Rosé focused, trying to see and understand what was going on, as for some reason she herself was starting to feel faint, and didn't understand why, but when she understood the cause, she didn't waste a minute in voicing out to the group.
"Holy shit, cover your mouths with a scarf and get out of here!" Rosé yelled, as the group complied due to the urgency sounding in her voice, and they dashed out of there.
"Okay...mind... explaining what.... That... was?" A panting Jisoo asked, as she crouched over, not knowing what had happened earlier.
"Toxins. Those flowers were emitting a gas, which would have made us all pass out if we stayed a minute longer without realising. The gas is affecting our bodies." She explained to the group.
"What the hell, could we have died?" Yoongi slightly exclaimed, as he heard her explanation.
"Probably, if we breathed in too much of that stuff. We should be fine for now, but let's take a break for a minute before moving again" she suggested as the others nodded.
The group of 11 had decided to now take a pause a little deeper, so that they were at an enough distance away from the flower field, as they caught their breaths and rested.
"Just breathe normally, and whatever gas you inhaled should flow back out with the carbon dioxide, I think" Rosé said, the last to in audible to the others as they went with her words, taking seats where they could.
Soon once they had begun to feel better, they had decided to move once again, after Jimin had checked to make sure they didn't go off course.
"Let's hope there's no more poisonous flowers. Poison Ivy is bad enough" Lisa rolled her eyes, as she walked with the group, not liking the forest.
She didn't like a number of things, especially the death of Jennie, and it was evident she still hadn't coped with it fully, as there was always a hesitation with her now.
She wasn't bubbly or didn't express herself as she used to anymore, most of them felt the loss of Jennie ranging through.
But they had put it to their minds that they had to get out of here first, and then properly accept the fact that she was gone.
Because denial and neglecting, was their only way right now.
