[SONG: WILLOW by Taylor Swift]

I hear the voice much closer to me this time. I slowly open my eyes to see the boy. The light is dim but bright enough for me to see him.

It was him.

The olive-toned guy is devastatingly handsome. I looked at him and our eyes meet. His black hair is a mop of waves pushed naturally back of his forehead. The hero's hair. He has a magnetic aura and his eyes are so intense. Those eyes say a lot. He is a trim build, not overly muscular. A strong jaw and a Romanesque nose. He's so hot. The same boy who ran out of the botany lab after he looked at me once. I tried to hide my stares but couldn't help but watch this guy. Who could?

Ahem.

I tried to play it cool and decided to pretend that I saw nothing earlier. I was already self-conscious and he made it harder for me to not think twice about every decision I made today.

'Can I-?' He meets my gaze and stops mid-sentence to shoot me a charming smile pointing at the edge of the concrete.

'Yeah, of course,' I said with a smile

He sits with me and I looked straight toward the party to avoid saying anything stupid. From the corner of my eyes, I could see him glancing over at me and felt my cheeks go red. You need to relax girl.

'Do you believe in shooting stars?' I ask him breaking the silence.

'That depends'

Very straight answer.

He looks at me with an unreadable expression.

'Close your eyes.' He says.

I looked at him with a confused look. Close my eyes. Why?

'Trust me, you won't regret and do as I say.'

A smile curves his lips as he continues staring at the sky. I closed my eyes and waited for his instructions.

'Now feel the fresh breeze on your skin and try to listen to the crickets.' He instructs.

I did as he instructed.

I felt the cold breeze on my skin making my body shiver. The sound of leaves rustling and the crickets are so relaxing. The sound of water flowing down over the sound of muffled party music. There must be a waterfall near. It's so relaxing and peaceful. It feels like another world.

I opened my eyes and looked at him and smiled.

'I haven't seen you around before.' After a moment of silence, he says looking at me.

'That is because I got here last week,'

'So you have family in the town?' He asks.

'My aunt, Dr Janet Parker,'

'She's your aunt. Right.' He doesn't sound surprised.

'She is,' I smiled at him.

We both looked up at the starry sky above and saw another shooting star.

'Do you want to make a wish?' I asked him looking at the sky.

'I want to. Another. Look!' He says looking at the sky and closing his eyes.

This time I didn't wish for anything but rather looked at his mesmerizing face. I can do nothing but, smile.

After a moment he looks at me.

'Hey, I don't want...' Before he can finish my phone starts ringing.

I took my phone out of the pocket of my jeans. It's Claire.
