Starting from the day I moved to Los Angeles to get a job. I was living in a hotel since I hadn't found a home to stay.
Oh shit, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Skylar Lou Dahmer but everyone calls me Skylar, except for my close friends who call me Sky and i am 17 years old. Better not to talk about my past right now.
As I said before I moved to LA about 3 days ago to catch a job since I had dropped out school at 15 years old. Every time I went out for a walk, almost always i got lost because I didn't get accustomed with the streets of LA.
It was almost 1am at night and i had just left a bar which i'd gone alone with the hope to find someone there but nothing ...Yet
As I was walking down the street to the hotel which was a bit deserted, I felt that someone was watching me, I got scared and I started walking faster.
As I was walking , someone grabbed me by my leather jacket causing me to fall down. When I looked up I saw a guy in black holding a pocket knife towards me. I managed to get up and tried to escape and run but i failed. He grabbed me again and stabbed me in the abdomen with the pocket knife.
"Give me the money you have" he said as he threatened me with the pocket knife.
I was screaming in pain and I was touching the wound with my hand "I have nothing to give you" i said in pain. He stabbed me a second time near the previous spot.
He searched my pockets without my permission. He took everything I had inside and disappeared from the face of the earth.
The pain had increased to the maximum, I could hardly walk. I was desperately looking for help.
I had lost all hope that there could be even one person around to help me.

Through Duff's eyes
Slash and I were walking down the road at 1 a.m after we left from Sunset Strip, on a deserted road.
While we were discussing various issues tranging from music to chicks, we heard a female voice screaming and begging for help
We tried to follow the path from which the voice came
While we were walking we saw in front of us a blonde girl bleeding very badly and looking at us with a face full of pain
"Please help me" she said with her voice quavering
"What the hell happened to you?" I asked, surprised and confused
"A guy attacked me and stabbed me with a pocket knife," she said with difficulty to speak
"We must take you to the hospital, you are bleeding very badly," I said anxiously
"Thank you very much, you are saving my life," she said, somewhat relieved
Fortunately, my house was not that far . I left the girl with Slash wait for me until I went as fast as I could to get my car
After 20 minutes I had returned to the place which I had left them. Slash had let the girl lie on his legs
We put her in the car and I drove to the hospital. During the driving we were introduced ourselves
"What's your name?" I asked her
"Skylar" she answered me with pain in her voice "your name?" She asked me
"Duff" I replied with a smile
"This is the first time I hear this name" she replied with a surprise in her mesmerising voice
"And what's your name buddy?" She asked Slash
"Slash" he replied
"Is that your real name?" She asked him curiously
"No, my real name is Saul but since I was really young everyone called me Slash" he replied "And Duff's name is nickname" he added to my bad luck
"What is your real name?" She asked me excitedly and curiously, but still in pain.
"I prefer not to answer" I told her, the truth is that I do not like my real name at all, nor am I used to it as everyone knows me as Duff
"As you wish" she said and closed her eyes in pain
After 10 minutes we arrived at the hospital and took her to the emergency room. They took her in to examine her and I do not know what else
We waited outside with Slash until they finished what they did inside, but Slash preferred to go home, so I was left alone to wait for her
After half an hour the doctor came out and said she had to stay there all night. I was surprised to hear that, I did not expect her injury to be that serious.
I asked the doctor if I could stay with her. The doctor told me to stay if i want to. I also asked him how she was and he answered me that she had 15 stitches and she needs to rest herself
Time was about 2:30 am. They took her to her room around that time, but I didn't go inside right away. I sat for a while to think about the whole situation
The truth is that as soon as I saw her in front of me I wanted to help her.
But during the journey to the hospital and as I looked at her in the mirror of the car I realized how beautiful she is and how angelic her face she has and when I heard her angelic voice, it sounded like music to my ears
I did not want to lose touch with this girl so I am going to try to do everything to stay with her
The moment I went into her room she was sleeping, I got in as quietly as I could in order not to wake her up and sat next to her in a chair
I didn't sleep at all, I sat and stared at her all night. Oh my God how beautiful she is, I think I have feelings for her, and every time I looked at her I felt little butterflies flying inside my stomach
I don't think I have ever felt like this way for a woman, I watched her sleeping and I couldn't stop looking at her, she had such an angelic and restful sleep, I began to make sure myself that am in love with her.
I wondered, is this considered as love at first sight? Maybe, but it is too early to fall in love with her. But i feel like i know her in ages.
But unfortunately I am not a guy who can be in a relationship.
