Jeno rolled his eyes as Jaemin continued flirting with Renjun from across their table, Jisung giggling beside him. They had decided to sit next to Renjun and Chenle for today, and Renjun seemed over the moon, happily clinging to Jeno while Jisung sat awkwardly beside Chenle and now Jaemin.

His enjoyment didn't last very long as Jaemin became overly touchy with Renjun and even occasionally Jeno. He quietly asked Chenle to shift over so he wouldn't be continuously hit by Jaemin's butt every few seconds, the older boy wholeheartedly agreeing and shuffling to the other end of the table. Jisung sat down properly beside him, looking over to see Jeno grumbling for the nth time as Jaemin winked at Renjun, the elder doubling over in laughter, looking a bit flustered, though he didn't turn red.

Jisung groaned slightly, grimacing in disgust as the three were in their own little world. He looked to the boy sitting beside him, a sly grin making its way to his lips as he pulled out his phone. Quickly glancing at the kid who was taking a bite out of his tteokbokki, he opened his notes app, rapidly typing a message to him, "How come you have a reflection?" He slid the phone over to him, tapping his shoulder to make him see the message.
Chenle stopped eating, Jisung seeing his eyes dart to the screen behind his glasses. He grinned to himself as Chenle turned his head up to him with a clenched jaw.
"Will you ever take me seriously, damn it!" he hissed at the boy, careful to make sure no one could hear them.
Jisung sniggered under his breath, seeing Chenle clench his fist tightly on the table. "Why should I?" he retorted, sticking his tongue out at him, "you suck blood for a living."
Chenle clicked his jaw, his chopsticks slowly snapping in his grasp as Jisung snickered, loving every moment of fury he was witnessing. And Chenle couldn't do much about it whatsoever. The elder continued staring at him, Jisung pursing his lips to stop himself from bursting into uncontrollable laughter.

Chenle gradually turned back to his food, seeming to have calm down. He huffed out, Jisung watching the relief in his movements. He smirked to himself.

"Succc."

Chenle turned and wacked him lightly with the back of his arm. Jisung's eyes grew, clasping his arm and doubling over, biting his lip to prevent himself from his screaming. Yeah, it was light, but it was light for a vampire, which was the equivalent of getting punched by Jeno and his twelve tonne muscles. Jisung whimpered, Chenle chuckling in pride as he watched the boy beside his exhale in pain.
"Ummmmm, owwww????" Jisung coughed, looking up at the boy from his pained hunched position. Chenle simply smirked in response, taking a sip of his drink as if it were nothing.

Jisung sighed, moving his shirt to see if his arm was okay as he sat back up. Chenle rolled his eyes, "you're not hurt, relax," he said flatly.
"Well how would I know that?" Jisung hissed at him, Chenle snorting to himself as the younger rubbed his arm with a pout. "That was mean."
"Don't be an idiot then," Chenle retaliated, going back to his food. Jisung looked down at him as he rubbed his arm, smiling at the boy as the pain eased.

At least he wasn't that damn tree.

Jisung turned his head, wanting to take some of Jeno's food again when he noticed Renjun staring at him with the same unnerving expression he had before. Jisung smiled awkwardly, waving at him, but there was no response. Jisung cleared his throat, standing up slightly, shuffling through the gap back to the chaos trio that had seemed to calm down, Jaemin now talking excitedly about something and Jeno half-heartedly listening, neither of them noticing the change in Renjun at all. Jisung reached over the table to take one of Jeno's containers when Renjun snatched his arm mid air. He looked up with large eyes, looking over to Jeno who hadn't noticed anything still. He snapped his head to Chenle, the boy observing them from afar.

Once again, Renjun brought Jisung's hand close to his face, taking an inhale, before locking eyes with him. Jisung looked back with dilated eyes, feeling his heart rate increase, his whole body pulsing in fear. He looked back over to Chenle. The boy had lowered his glasses, glaring at Renjun, a short flash of silver going past his eyes. He snapped his head back to Renjun, seeing that he was staring back at him, but there wasn't any silver in his eyes. Maybe he missed it. Or maybe it wasn't there to begin with.
"Hyung," he whispered, Renjun's head snapping back unnaturally fast, staring dead into the young boy's eyes. "You're hurting me."

Renjun looked down to his hand gripping tightly to Jisung, blinking for a moment before releasing it and chuckling to himself, life filling back in his cold eyes. "Ah sorry Sung."
"What happened?" Jeno turned his head to them with an oblivious smile, Jaemin doing the same. Jisung internally rolled his eyes, were these two seriously that clueless? As if they couldn't see whatever the hell had happened.
Renjun giggled to himself, waving his hand as if it were nothing, "absolutely nothing, Jisung just wants your food, Nono."
"Nono, huh?" Jaemin quirked an eyebrow at Jeno sending a death glare toward the older boy, though whether that was actually going to work was debatable to Jisung. Renjun giggled as Jaemin started talking about how adorable the nickname sounded. Jisung carefully took one of Jeno's containers before shuffling back over to Chenle, eyes darting back to Renjun every so often.

Renjun had never scared him in his life. What was this guy doing? Jisung no longer knew what to think of him anymore. He was fine brushing it off the first time, no matter how damn strange it was, but twice is now one too many. Jisung sat back down, scratching his head and looking down. He awkwardly tapped at the table, not knowing what to do or think when ice curled its way around his hand. He looked up sharply to Chenle, the older boy gently squeezing his hand.
"Are you okay?" he asked, actual concern evident in his tone.
Jisung blinked, barely registering anything for a moment before nodding rapidly. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine."

Chenle nodded, letting go of Jisung's hand as he stood up. He walked over to Renjun, bending down and whispering something to him. Jisung swallowed, opting to look down instead off being confronted by whatever those two were doing. He only had to deal with one vampire, he didn't need extra shit.
