Jaemin narrowed his eyes at him, "No."
"Oh please," Mark suddenly sat up, looking at him eagerly, "Jisung and I still haven't seen them in general. Neither has Chenle."
"Come on Jaem," Jeno poked the boy's side, Jaemin pouting as everyone begged for him to show his wings.
"But they're so big, dude," Jaemin frowned.
"Please, Jaeminie," Renjun sat up, pulling on Jaemin's arm whiningly.
Jaemin pouted, slowly caving into the peer pressure. Donghyuck sat up with fire in his eyes, "I'll pull your shirt off man, let me see."
Jaemin's head jerked back in fear as Chenle leaned over and covered Donghyuck's mouth. "He won't but please, hyung, even I wanna see."

Jaemin bit his lip, narrowing his eyes at Chenle for a moment. Chenle pulled his best puppy eyes, Jisung's heart tripping over his rib cage as it watched Chenle, falling backwards in happiness and pumping blood rapidly to his cheeks. Jeno glanced over to Jisung in a lovestruck daze, chuckling quietly before turning back to see Jaemin sigh in defeat.

"Fine, but I gotta kinda strip," he warned before shrugging his jacket off. He unbuttoned the third button before pulling his shirt over his head, Jeno and Renjun's eyes going wide with Jeno's face going slightly red as everyone was met with Jaemin's toned stomach. Jaemin smirked slightly, pulling Jeno by his collar and mumbling something quietly to him that made him go even redder. He left a quick peck on his cheek before moving his head back and kissing Renjun's.

With that, he stood up, taking a breath and unfolding the wings. Jisung's eyes went wide as gigantic wings extended from Jaemin's back, a good three or so metres extending each side, flourishing past his head in the most gorgeous gradient of sunset colours, ending with pink at the ends as well as melding through the shimmering reds, yellows and oranges. Jisung could see through his wings to Jeno's dining area, but the colours were so blinding and mesmerising he was fixated on their form. How the boy could conceal them so well was a mystery but it didn't really matter at the moment. Jaemin's own honey toned skin shimmered slightly, a crown of winded branches and flowers seemingly flickering around head.

"This is one of the two true forms of a sprite," Jaemin explained, moving the wings back and forth slightly as he gestured to his sides. "The other form I can't just do yet, I have to wait til I'm strong enough." The boys all stared in awe at the colours they witnessed as Jaemin explained slightly more, "all folklore creatures have a true form, the most normal ones we think of are werewolves, but all have one. Sprites just happen to have two." He exhaled sharply, the wings shutting neatly behind him, his shimmer and crown disappearing immediately. "Cause we're younger, it's hard to maintain true forms."

"Ah," Renjun managed to snap out of his daze, not fully, but enough to register what Jaemin was saying. "I've only used my true form once and Jisung doesn't even remember."
"Hm?" Jisung blinked slowly as everyone gradually came out of their trance. Jaemin chuckled, sitting down and pulling his shirt back over his head.
"The one time I used the vampire true form, you didn't realise cause you were too caught up in the fact that you were right," Renjun chuckled, just sinking back into Jaemin's side once more. Jeno still had registered what he had witnessed and was mindlessly poking Jaemin's arm in a daze. To be fair, the boy was fit as hell, if they weren't in shock of Jaemin's wings, they'd all be gushing about his body, and apparently Jeno hadn't gotten over either.
"Wait seriously?" Jisung furrowed his brows, trying to remember the whole scenario playing out.

Jaemin chuckled, leaning forward with his eyes going pink, "lemme help."
Jisung's head spun for a moment, clutching to Chenle as random memories flashed through his mind. Vividly there in his mind all of a sudden was his first encounter with Renjun in his vampire state and Jisung finally remembered why the hell he was so terrified about Renjun initially. There, clear as a blue sky was Renjun's true vampire form, which was anything but welcoming. If the cold of their skin didn't give away the fact that he didn't have a pulse, Renjun's face had completely hollowed, his skin that had gone whiter than a sheet, looking as if it was barely clinging to his skeleton, shrivelling with his face practically splitting in two to bear fangs, long and sharp. The silver and red in Renjun's eyes suddenly got ten times scarier than it felt in the moment.

Jisung suddenly snapped out of his head, staring in horrified silence at the carpet below him. Jaemin looked toward Renjun, "Now that I've seen that, what the actual fuck Renjun."
Renjun shrugged, pouting as Jaemin shuffled closer to Jeno.

With Mark and Donghyuck eating their food and enjoying the show on the side, Chenle lifted Jisung's head up to look at him, the older boy worried out of his mind.
"Ji, you okay?" he examined his shaken eyes, wondering what he had witnessed. Jisung never saw Chenle in the true form, and with his brain in some sort of shock, he had complete trust in Chenle despite him being a vampire himself.
Jisung bit his lip to stop it from quivering as he fell in Chenle's arms, "I'm gonna have nightmares again."
"Aw, baby," Chenle chuckled with pout, holding Jisung tightly. Trembling in his arms, Jisung shuffled slightly and let his head rest on Chenle's shoulder, hoping the older boy won't mind tear stains on his shirt.

Donghyuck clicked his tongue, gesturing to Jisung and Chenle, "look what you've done to him, he's got anxiety now."
Renjun chuckled awkwardly, scratching his neck. He turned to Jaemin with a sheepish smile, "Maybe you shouldn't have done that."
"Yeah no shit," Jaemin flicked Renjun forehead before resting back on Jeno's lap, "I think I might have nightmares seeing that."
Jisung gave him a thumbs up, mumbling a quiet "same" as he silently cried, gripping on to Chenle's shirt.
"Jaemin hyung, you're a fucking idiot," Chenle shook his head before quietly trying to calm down the boy in his arms. Jisung hiccupped, for luckily he didn't cry as long as he did when he found out about Chenle being whatever he was. At least he let him cry on him. Which was a weird thing to say. But even if this was Chenle's way of trying to have it even with him, he was lucky that Chenle just held him. Even as his cries died down and he just wanted to hug someone, Chenle kept him in his embrace.

He was lucky that he had Chenle.

Let's just hope that he could keep him.
