"A millennium has passed and we're still on Jeno's floor," Donghyuck sat down, ruffling his rainbow dyed hair.
Jaemin pursed his lips, placing his hands on his hip and he stared at Donghyuck. Donghyuck looked up, stifling laughter. "What seems to be the problem, officer?"
"Get up, this is not a house," Jaemin took the towel off his shoulder, trying to smack a dodging Donghyuck. The older boy screeched, darting off the carpet into Renjun's arms. "Help me, your devil husband is trying to kill me," Donghyuck jumped into Renjun's arms, Renjun laughing as he caught him. Jaemin rolled his eyes, walking back over behind the counter as Jeno drew up the blinds of their small place. Job 164, barista and baker, it suited Jeno and Jaemin in Jisung's eyes.
While Renjun kept learning and studying every few years to keep up and up with the ever growing medical system, Jeno and Jaemin got tired over the millennia, instead doing random jobs that interested them at that point in time. This time it was a coffee shop, cutely decorated by their beloved Renjun in dark pinks and blues, the place littered in fairy lights and small jars of dainty ornaments, the theme being "fairytale" ironically.
Mark currently worked at a shelter, being 'surprisingly' incredible at his job, being able to work well with the stray cats and especially dogs at the place. Something Donghyuck still continued to laugh at him about even after all this time. Unlike his husband, Donghyuck was a stay at home father, taking care of their daughter, who had apparently finally shown signs of her werewolf side.Jisung on the other hand decided to be like Renjun in his teaching field. An endless loop of moving around cities and countries, educating himself on events through history, though now at this point he had lived through quite a few he had to teach. Being the ever brilliant child he was, he made it a point to try to document events as they happened, therefore when he went to teach them, they'd be as accurate to the history that occurred rather than the twisted ones. Chenle decided to take up a job in training young vampires, which was the smartest idea any of them could think of, most of them facepalming in realising how convenient of a job it was. Chenle would go teach 4-7 year old vampires how to hunt and eat as vampires, helping them and making sure that these kids weren't as sheltered as he was. Though it was a very long time ago he remembered feeling alone and wanting to isolate himself and he didn't want any vampirelings to feel the same way.
Chenle continued poking the faint vines that trailed down Donghyuck's neck as the older boy tried to figure out the menu. Jaemin glanced over at him, sighing in disappointment, "Hyuck, flick up."
"WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE JUST KEPT IT PAPER! Donghyuck whined, slamming his head on the table, "WHY DID EVERYTHING CHANGE TO FUCKIN HOLOGRAMS! I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS!"
Mark snorted, taking a sip of his hot chocolate, "Hyuckie, your age is showing." Jisung giggled, looking over at the elder as Donghyuck screamed at him. "Hyung, it'd be concerning if he really did look his age."
Mark laughed loudly, a grumble in his throat as he reached over and ruffled his hair.
Renjun rolled his eyes, huffing loudly, "all these years and I still look like a fetus." Apparently, Renjun hadn't stopped aging at 21 like Chenle had, but at age 19. The boy hadn't really aged. Changed? Of course, he looked more supernatural, the silver in his eyes now naturally setting in like Chenle's. But he still somehow had a baby face and a baby voice.Chenle dropped his hand with a laugh, "well it's not like any of us actually look our age."
"Yeah," Jisung nodded, slumping in his seat, "personally I'd be distressed if I actually looked 1248."
Jeno furrowed his eyebrows in disgust, looking up to Jaemin, "Oh my gosh, we're that old? We should be dead."
"Well...some of us are kinda already dead," Jaemin pointed out, Jeno snapping his fingers at him.
"Ah yes, necrophilia," Jisung said solemnly with a nod.
Chenle whipped back to look at him, sending him a dark glare, "would you shut up about that for once in your life?"
"No," Jisung raised eyebrows, glaring back at him with an equally strong gaze. He leaned forward, meeting nose to nose with him as he narrowed his eyes, "you're going to be hearing this for another few millennia."
