"Sup, emo," Jisung smiled, swinging his bag off his shoulder as he sat beside him. Trying to just skip the middleman, he decided to just gain courage and not wait for Mr Seo to tell them to move. Chenle grumbled quietly to himself as Jisung smiled sunnily at him.

Turns out, the boy just seemed to be in a constant state of pissed off and didn't really do anything about it. So Jisung had just decided to pester him about random things as best he could. They were at school, it's not like Chenle could really do anything to him with so many people around them, so Jisung was at least ninety percent sure he was safe.

If not, death wasn't that bad either.

Chenle huffed, hissing at him, "I'm not emo, dickhead."
Jisung simply laughed quietly in response, hardly fazed by the boy's harsh tone. Surprising how much less scarier things became if he just thought about it logically. "Ah yeah," he looked up at him as the teacher's voice drowned out in the background. "Your skin is pale white," he reached out slightly, Chenle moving back slightly as Jisung gently ran his thumb across his cheek, "and ice cold." He tilted his head at him as he put his hand down, "your eyes change colour, and you don't go out in sunlight." He exhaled softly, "I know what you are."
Chenle bit his lip, looking at him through his sunglasses, "say it, out loud."

"...iron deficient."

Chenle stared at him for a long while as Jisung stifled his laughter, quickly covering his mouth with his hand to stop himself from dying at the back of thee classroom. "You have no idea how long I have waited to say that to you." He had been sitting on those lines for the entire weekend. They hadn't met up to work on the project whatsoever during the weekend like they were supposed to, so instead Jisung had taken the time to look up various Twilight quotes to annoy Chenle with.

The elder boy clicked his tongue, "you aren't wrong though."
Jisung clicked his fingers at him, still giggling to himself. "It's a shame I couldn't use the whole quote though."
"What is the rest of the quote," Chenle spoke in his ever famous dead tone. Though Jisung guessed he literally was dead considering he didn't have a heartbeat.
"Uhh," Jisung drawled, looking up as he pondered, "she also mentions his speed, strength and age, but like," he turned back to the older, eyeing him up and down, "you walk in slow motion, legs look like twigs and you already said you weren't a hundred or something."

Chenle continued staring at him in silence and Jisung chuckled awkwardly. Okay, nevermind, guess he was still a bit unsettling to be around, but it was still fine. Chenle wouldn't do anything stupid, now would he. Would he?

Silently, Chenle leaned over to Jisung's table, the teacher not noticing him reach inside Jisung's pencil case. Jisung shuffled his seat back with wide eyes, immediately moving his arms behind the chair just in case Chenle tried to hurt him, but instead the boy simply took three items from the case. A highlighter, a pencil and a red pen.

He removed his glasses, placing them on the table. He took the items between his forefingers and thumbs, and in one swift movement snapped all three at the same time without breaking eye contact with him. Jisung noticed the glint of silver get brighter and harsher in his eyes as he broke his belongings, going into a small hypnotic daze as he stared back at him.

So, vampires had strength, nice to know.

Chenle tossed the broken items on to Jisung's desk, dusting his hands and breaking their prolonged eye contact. Jisung continued staring in a daze, completely in awe of the boy's abilities as Chenle himself slid his sunglasses back on up his nose, and turned back to the teacher, a satisfied smile on his lips.

Jisung sighed quietly to himself, his lips slightly parted as he still hadn't processed what had happened. To say he was impressed was an understatement. Sure snapping a pencil by itself isn't that impressive, but three. And it didn't even look like he was using any effort, it looked so natural. Nothing about Chenle really screamed strong, yet here he was, snapping pencils and pens with only his damn fingers without breaking a sweat. He was sure that he could probably break his arm or something so easily, it sent shivers down his spine.

He puffed his cheeks, turning back to Mr Seo rattling on at the front of the class. He rested his head in the palm of his head, barely registering what the teacher was talking about, not only still dazed from earlier, but now trying to register what Renjun had done earlier that morning. Maybe Jeno knew? It was out of character for him, something that Jisung hadn't witnessed and it felt as if he found out something he wasn't supposed to. A dark side of Huang Renjun. Maybe he could try to confront him about it. He did seem thrown off, and it did seem to be about Ch-

"And I will be coming around to see how much progress you have made, which I'm assuming you've come up with a plan almost in full."

Jisung's head shot up, sharply turning toward Chenle who also looked to him in supposed fear. If he hadn't been so startled by what the teacher had said, he'd probably remark that that was the fastest he had seen Chenle move, but now the fear of a deadline instead slapped itself across their faces.

Mr Seo clapped, telling everyone to continue on with their projects before making his rounds. Jisung shuffled his seat hurriedly toward the older boy, slamming his hands down on the table as he got there.
"We don't have anything, crap," he rushed out.
Chenle ran his hand through his hair, rapidly flicking his laptop lid up and opening up a random document, his breathing slightly fast. Seems vampires also had the same response in terms of fear even if they didn't have a working heart. Jisung shook his head rapidly, trying to get the stupid vampire thoughts out of his head as they stared at the blank document.

"Home, right?" Chenle asked, no change in his tone though visibly he looked stressed. Jisung nodded rapidly. Jisung simply blinked and once he opened his eyes, Chenle had written half a page. Though if you looked closely, it was mainly gibberish, talking about plushies and family, if you looked from a distance, it looked good. The first three sentences were coherent enough that if Mr Seo were to simply scan over it, it would seem perfectly fine.

Jisung turned to Chenle with wide eyes looking like a kid in an aquarium, "that is so cool man."
Chenle huffed, slowly moving his hands away from the laptop and clasping them on the table, looking slightly terrified.

Mr Seo made his way to the table, looking over at Chenle's screen, "all going good, boys?"
Chenle and Jisung turned their heads in sync up to the teacher, Jisung giving an awkward smile.
"Yes sir."
Mr Seo smiled, patting Jisung's back and nodding to Chenle, "well it seems that you are okay, if you need help just come ask, kay?"
"Yes sir."

As soon as Mr Seo turned and walked away, both Jisung and Chenle exhaled in relief.
"Well that was close," Jisung nudged Chenle's shoulder, smiling cheerfully at him.
Chenle grumbled, "don't touch me."
"Do you have a reflection?"
"Shut up."
