"Jeno, come on," Renjun tapped on the door once again. Jisung rubbed his hands together, blowing on them to try and keep warm. As he shifted his weight back and forth on his feet, Chenle rolled his eyes, unzipping his jacket and handing it to him. Jisung blinked up at him, "don't you feel cold?"
"I don't feel anything, Jisung," Chenle said matter-of-factly, pushing the puffer jacket to him once again. Jisung smiled, taking it and throwing it over his shoulders.

Donghyuck whined behind them as Renjun hit the door once more, yelling out for the young boy. "Mark, why won't you give me your jacket?"
Mark turned his head to him, "cause I'm not a damn vampire now am I?"
The boys finally decided to just let Mark and Donghyuck know about the bat infestation in their group. It was about time they knew, especially since even the newer addition to their group knew. Surprisingly the two took it well, Mark was a bit scared as one would be but stuck around to listen and have Renjun reassure him that neither him nor Chenle would ever hurt them, Chenle simply nodding in agreement. Donghyuck was completely in awe of Renjun's fangs, trying to tap them and see them over and over, eventually tiring out the entire group before they even got to Jeno's house.

Mark sighed as Donghyuck continued to complain, caving in and unzipping his jacket. Instead of removing it, he pulled his brat of a boyfriend in his embrace, Donghyuck being warmed up by both the jacket and Mark.
Jaemin sighed, clasping his chest as Renjun gagged beside him.
"Ah they're so cute."
"I wish I was deader."
Jaemin pouted, "oh come on Injunnie, they're so cute," he hip bumped the older boy, "we should be like that."
Renjun's eyes widened as he tried spluttering an answer. Jisung laughed, knowing that if the boy had blood, he'd be a blushing mess. Guess he was lucky in that department.

Jaemin giggled, pinching the boy's cheek as Donghyuck pulled himself and Mark up to the door, rapidly pounding on the door. "OI SHITHEAD! IT'S FREEZING LET US IN!"
Jaemin sighed dramatically, turning his attention away from the small boy, "now Donghyucknie, in the wise words of Patton Sanders 'you catch more flies with honey than vinegar', so let's be kind shall we?" He smiled sweetly at the boy, to which Donghyuck surprisingly complied. He shuffled to the side to let Jaemin gently tap at the door. He gently called Jeno's name, sweetly trying to coax him out of his hiding hole. After a few moments of anticipated silence, Jaemin turned to all of them, clasping his hands in front of chest with a smile. "Well, love has failed me."

Jisung sighed in defeat. He knew Jeno was home and that he was just ignoring all their cries in favour of his blankets and nightmares. He looked up as Chenle gently tapped his shoulder.
"Maybe you try," Chenle suggested, his tone flat but Jisung knew he meant well, "you understand more than all of us how he feels. Mark hyung, Donghyuck hyung, Jaemin hyung, they all got there easily, you took a tiny bit of time. Try that."

The younger boy nodded at him, reasoning that the kid was probably right. He got the fear though he was confronted by it differently. Maybe he could be the one to try pull him out of hiding.
"Hyung," he spoke through the door, tapping lightly on it, "I know this is scary, trust me. I ran to your house in fear when I found out. But I promise no one's gonna hurt you. Renjun's still as sweet as he has always been. He's just a bit weird. You said I shouldn't run from someone just cause they're weird, hyung. You shouldn't either, even if it's a different type of weird." He looked back at the guys behind him, Renjun sending him a reassuring smile and Jaemin grinning brightly up at him, sending a small sliver of hope into heart. "Jeno hyung," he looked back to the door, speaking a bit louder, "don't you want the nightmares to stop?"

The boys waited for another few moments, hoping that he'd come out, each second passing sending another arrow into their chests. Jisung's shoulders slumped the longer they waited, looking down to the steps below his feet. Renjun glanced at his phone with a frown, "guys, its almost 12."
Jisung swallowed, turning his head back to see all the boys sighing in defeat. Donghyuck gritted his teeth in frustration, Mark trying to comfort him. Renjun sniffled, trying not to cry as Jaemin looked confusedly at the door. Chenle slapped Jisung's shoulder, the boy whipping around to see Chenle telling him to shut up and listen. Both boys leaned closer to the door, hearing quiet footsteps shuffling toward the door, Jisung's face brightening up. He stood up straight as the door handle turned.

The door opened slightly, Jeno looking out at the group of slightly distressed boys with judging eyes through the small gap.
"Hyung," Jisung smiled brightly, the rest of the guys breathing in relief as they saw Jeno's face. He looked toward Renjun, narrowing his eyes at him. Renjun simply laughed, grinning widely at him, "Hi, Nono." Jeno stared at him blankly as Renjun smiled at him fondly, "I promise I'll explain everything, just please listen to us."

Jeno scanned the entire group, Jisung knowing that he was not only scared but also insanely confused since none of them looked like they were dressed for the same event. Chenle as per usual was in all black, sunglasses on even though it was night and no jacket or hoodie, instead a thin black top. Renjun was in a big bright rainbow jumper while Jaemin was in a semi see-through pink floral shirt with a white suit jacket on top. Meanwhile Mark was in his basketball uniform and Jisung and Donghyuck were wearing puffer jackets, Jisung now wearing two. Jeno blinked at them, trying to stifle laughter as he slowly opened the door further to let the freezing boys in.

They all sighed in loud relief as they were met with Jeno's warm home, Donghyuck immediately darting out Mark's hold to the fireplace, snatching a blanket from the sofa on his way.

Jisung giggled, immediately jumping on to his Jeno hyung, hugging him tightly. Jeno giggled slightly, staggering from the weight of him. "Kid, what are you doing?"
"You left me for a day and a half now, I deserve to be dramatic," he grinned, jumping out of Jeno's hold. Jeno laughed, ruffling his hair as he smiled up at him. He sighed, looking back to see the rest of the guys sitting around his lit fireplace. He turned back to his tall friend, "you have a lot to explain, Park Jisung."
"I know, and I will."
