To Be Trusted

"This feels kinda ritualistic," Jisung looked around at the candles surrounding him, Chenle carefully lighting them around him.

"It's cause it is, dumbass," Chenle chuckled, gradually making his way around on the inside of the circle. He slowly lit another pillar candle, covering the wick to not let any draft get to the original candle, not that there was any way it could happen. He had made sure to tell his parents before they started the ritual, making sure nothing could interfere. Now he was lighting candles in an almost pitch black room and hoping that Jisung wouldn't regret his decisions.

Jisung chuckled as Chenle finished, blowing out the candle he held and setting it out of the circle. He shuffled behind Jisung, wrapping his arms around his shoulders and resting his chin there.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Chenle asked quietly, "you can't go back afterwards."
"I know," Jisung nodded, sending him a reassuring smile, though honestly it was doing nothing for Chenle's mind.
He pursed his lips, "and you'll have to fake your death or something or tell your parents and they might not look at you the same ever again."
Jisung chuckled, nuzzling his forehead against Chenle's, "I know, and I still have time to figure out how I'm going to do that."

Chenle gulped, looking Jisung dead in the eyes, "and it will hurt a lot."
"I know that, idiot," Jisung laughed, flicking Chenle's side with a fond smile, "I'm okay with that."
Chenle huffed, "but I don't want you to be in pain, Jisungie."
Jisung sighed deeply, turning himself a bit toward Chenle. "Oh grow up you big baby," he laughed quietly before pressing a kiss on the side of his head.

Chenle sighed deeply. It's not that he didn't want Jisung to turn but he didn't like the idea of Jisung abandoning his life for him. He couldn't be more grateful but he also couldn't be more weary of his decision. What if one day, even if it was hundreds of years in the future, Jisung got up and decided he hated the life he chose for himself? He'd have to go through life knowing he'll leave so many people. Yeah, he might have his closest friends, but he couldn't keep anyone else. Chenle just really worried about whether Jisung was being too hasty.
He sunk down, clasping onto Jisung's shirt with a pout. He just didn't want Jisung to regret being with him in the end.

"Are you sure?"
Jisung fell into a few giggles, "yes I'm sure."
"What if, like, we break up or something?" Chenle debated, though very stupidly. Like he would ever want to leave him.
Jisung turned back again, staring at him blankly, "are you planning to do so any time soon?"
"...well no," Chenle reasoned, "But-"
Jisung sighed deeply, turning back to face Chenle's desk, "then we're good."

"But-" Chenle tried to argue again but was cut off again by Jisung.
"Lele," he tilted his head back to look at the elder, "I'm 21 now, I've had a good while to think about this." He straightened his head, eyes warm and loving that helped Chenle's shoulders relax. Jisung placed his hand on Chenle's leg, rubbing the outside of his thigh to comfort him. "You've told me everything, I've spoken to Renjun hyung, Jeno hyung, and your parents about this. I know what I'm getting into, and I'm okay with that," he leaned forward, placing a quick peck on Chenle's lips, "just trust us, okay?"
Chenle bit the inside of his lip, "...you won't have blood, no heartbeat, no warmth in your skin, nothing."
Jisung groaned, facepalming before rubbing his face, "just bite me you dramatic twat."

Chenle chuckled, swallowing as Jisung turned back properly once again. The younger boy took a deep breath before taking Chenle's hand into his own. "Just hold me."
Chenle took a deep inhale, nodding as he wrapped his free arm around Jisung's arm and waist, gripping Jisung's hand as tightly as he could without hurting him, which unfortunately was not as tightly as he'd like to hold him.

Jisung tilted his head to the side, shutting his eyes tightly, waiting for impact. Waiting for the pain before forever. Chenle took a deep sigh, letting his eyes turn silver and fangs come through as he glanced at the floor.
He turned to look at the younger boy, leaning forward and nuzzling his neck. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be," Jisung spoke, though shakily, "I want this, I promise."
Chenle shut his eyes, pressing a soft kiss on to Jisung's neck, the boy tense under his touch.
