Totoo nga yung sinasabi nila na when you're happy, hindi mo mapapansin yung mga nasa paligid mo.
Nothing happened after our lunch together pero kontento na ako. Masaya ako. Ayun na ata ang pinakamasayang araw ko simula ng dumating kami sa San Ignacio.
Buong maghapon ay hindi natanggal ang ngiti sa labi ko. I know exactly what I am feeling. Hindi ko lang alam if he feels the same way.
If I'm just gonna based it sa mga pinapakita niya. Sa tingin ko ay oo. Pero ayaw kong umasa. I'm just gonna hurt myself if papaniwalain ko ang sarili ko na gusto niya rin ako, tapos ang ending ay hindi naman pala or worst is maging issue ang status namin sa buhay.
Weekend na nga pala bukas. Magpapasama na ako kay Auntie na mag-interview ng mga magsasaka dito sa San Ignacio.
Ang gusto kong i-feature sa report ko is ang mismong magsasaka at hindi ang may-ari ng lupa. Coz I know that they are who probably knows the job more.
Huling subject ko na pero wala ang professor namin kaya napagpasyahan kong pumunta muna sa library. Dahil nga irregular student pa ako, wala ako masyadong nagiging ka-close, coz they will just probably see me for 2-3 times a week.
When I entered the library, I immediately saw Ron sitting at the corner sa tabi ng bintana. Agad akong kinapitan ng konsenya. I left him earlier for Eugene. I blushed when that thought crossed my mind pero agad ko rin itong itinigil.
"Hi Ron." I approached him and smiled. He smiled back at me like nothing happened.
"Hi, wala ka ng klase?" He asked and he put down the book he's reading.
"Wala yong professor namin. Actually, uuwi na sana ako. Naisip ko lang dumaan muna dito." I said while pointing at the books I borrowed.
He just nodded and muli ng bumalik sa pagbabasa.
He's not normally like this. Sa tingin ko talaga ay nagtampo siya sa akin dahil iniwanan ko siya kanina.
"Uhm, Ron. I'm sorry kanina if hindi tayo nakapagsabay maglunch." Sabi ko at tinignan ko siya. I am sincerely apologizing tapos tinawanan lang ako.
"Don't worry. It's okay. Pero may utang ka sa aking lunch." He said. Tumawa nalang din ako at tumango.
We just sat there and read for a while. He really is a good guy. Minsan ay tinitignan ko siya habang nagbabasa siya. He is sometimes clenching his jaw na parang bang galit sa mga nababasa.
His curly hair makes him look cute and soft. I like that he doesn't put too much gel in his hair just enough to make it frizz free.
"You know what. Since we're here. Why don't we go to dinner? It's already 4PM. I know a restaurant sa bayan. Just a 30 minute drive para you can be home before 7PM." Sabi niya without tearing his eyes from the book.
"Okay." I said. Napailing nalang ako dahil hindi talaga niya inaalis ang paningin sa libro kaya tinawanan ko nalang siya.
We both gather our things, put back the books we borrowed and head out.
As we are walking towards the gate I saw familiar faces.
Gracie and the gang is just outside the gate.
As soon as she saw me, she waved her hands in the air like we never see each other for ages.
Natawa kami pareho ni Ron sa ginagawa ni Gracie.
"Pauwi ka na Via?" Gracie asked smiling from ear to ear.
"Mag-dinner pa kami sa Canielo's." Ron answered while smiling.
