"You do look, I can't lie." Eric says while helping me fix my tie. "Thanks." I reply with a shaky voice. It's a big day. So much planning went into this day to make it perfect for Mackenzie. Looking around for the perfect venue, tasting almost 65 different flavours of cake, trying on 12 different suits and 14 wedding dresses, we finally made it. My heart beats fast within my chest and shakes cover my body.

"You will be fine." Eric reassures. "Sapphire has a getaway car ready in case she wants to run out her wedding too." he jokes.

I punched him hard on his shoulder. He exaggerates how much it hurts and massages his shoulder. A knock sounds on the door and I tell them to come in. "The cutest groomsmen wants to make his debut." Sapphire coos while holding her son in her arms. Eric takes his son from his wife and raises him in the air, laughing and giggling. "Hey Jackson, you look good son." he compliments his son as if the 2 year old can understand.

"Wow." Sapphire speaks as she looks at me. "You brush up well Kennedy."

"Thanks. Give him here Eric." I ask Eric. I take Jackson in my arms and sit with him. "Hey buddy. You look better than me."

Eric and Sapphire leave the room and let me and Jackson sit alone. "I'm glad you're standing by my side on this day, buddy. I'm shit-really nervous." I stop myself from cursing. "It's been a long road getting here." Jackson coos in my arms just looking at my face.

He is really cute. He's got Eric's blue eyes but Sapphire's smile and blonde hair. "You're gonna have a day like this. In the future, you will find your Mackenzie. Little lesson from me, don't let her go. No matter what, when you find your Mackenzie, stay there by her side."

"Mickey!" he shouts and laughs.

"Yeah, Mickey." I laugh back at him. I knew deep down he favoured her over me but it's fine, I would too. Eric walks in and informs me that it's time. I give Jackson to Eric and make my way to the garden.

The venue looks beautiful. Sapphire did such an amazing job. The weather is perfect with the sun shining perfectly at the centre where Mackenzie and I will stand. Everyone is sitting in their seats waiting for the big moment to happen. All the groomsmen stood waiting and the bridesmaids gathered on the opposite side, in their sage green dresses. I walk down and watch as everyone stares at me. Mackenzie mum sends an air kiss my way and I smile at her. I finally make it to the altar and get prepared for the biggest day of my life.
