I finalize all the files in the office and begin to make my way out. "You got the dresses?" I ask Sapphire. "Right here," she replies while emphasizing the dress bags in her arms. Why on earth did I decide to host this party? Both of us run into Rashid's car and demand him to drive and be quick. The party is two hours away and I still have to get ready. Luckily for me, Sapphire had the idea to do my makeup before work because according to her logic, 'the makeup will look better after it has sat on my face for a while. Turns out, her logic was accurate. I must admit, I got a few stares off people.

We finally arrive at the venue and look around to see how it appears. It was perfect. Gold and black balloons filled the ceiling and the waiters all wore black shirts with gold ties. The dance floor was huge and drinks were lined up along the bar. "Okay, everything looks great," I state.

Sapphire grabs me and pulls me into the small room in the back and says, "Yes, now it's time for us to look great." I take off my work clothes and change into my dress. It's a thigh-length, gold dress with horizontal slits on the side starting from under my boob and down. I place my hair into a low bun and accessorize it with dainty jewelry. I top up my lipstick. Sapphire looks incredible in her black bodycon dress, which makes her boobs look amazing. I can tell she's slightly annoyed with Sam canceling last minute, because he wanted to go to a club with his boys, to celebrate the new year. A knock sounds on the door.

"Come in," I announce

"Come in," I announce

"Miss Brown, Miss May, two champagnes." says the waiter as he hands our glasses. Saph downs her drink, to calm down her anger I guess and I down it to calm my nerves. We look at the waiter and laugh nervously. He's got luscious black hair and grey eyes, and the tight uniform is doing wonders for his body. "It's fine, I understand how stressful these events can be," he says

I hand him our empty champagne flutes. "I'll get you some more." he laughs before walking out of the room. We walk out of the room and do some final checks of the venue.
