"I still cant believe it, its really you." Koi laughed, sitting with Sora in the sitting room. Sora thanked Saeyako, Koi's wife, as she grabbed the tea handed to her.

"Im glad to see everyone is well. How is Sayuri?" Sora asked, having not seen Sayuri at all yet.

Sora and Sayuri are only a year apart in age. Although Sayuri acts like a young child, she is very mature when it comes to being serious. They had been inseparable since they met when they were younger, but with Sora being a slayer now, its all changed when she started to go on missions more and more.

Sora and Sayuri exchanged letters for quite a while, until Sora stopped responding. There wasn't much of a reason for her to not respond, but she was lying through the pages as she wrote all about her day as a demon slayer. Although she was still killing demons, she wasn't doing it as an official slayer. Sora lied to Sayuri about all of it and she couldn't take it anymore, so she stopped writing letters at all.

It had worried Sayuri that Sora had died in combat, but she had the feeling she was still alive.

"Ah Sayuri is training in the back currently. She wants to become a slayer like you, actually." Koi said, adjusting himself. "So how have you been, Sora? I heard you became a Hashira, which is a great achievement at your age."

"Ah.. Ive been okay. Im currently not.. working as a Hashira as of now. Its a bit complex. Thats actually part of why im here, mr Sugikou."

"Just call my Koi, Sora. Ive known you since you were little, you don't have to be so formal around me. You can talk to me about anything."

"Thank you mr Su- ..Koi. There is something wrong with me, and i need your help."

Later

"Hey 'Yuri, hows training going?" Sora said, peeking her head outside. Sayuri jumped lightly and turned her head towards her.

"Sora! I thought you weren't going to be back for a while more! I.. wanted to be stronger before you showed up.." Sayuri sighed, setting her wooden sword down and slouching her shoulders.

"Yuri, you are already a strong girl. You have your fathers blood in you, so you are bound to be as, or even more, powerful than him. I dont know if you have heard, but im a Hashira now. So if you want, i can have you train under me as my tsuguko?"

"Woah really! You would train me to use breaths and everything, right?" Sayuri smiled widely, and Sora nodded.

"But i am warning you, Yuri. The training you would endure is quite harsh. Are you 100% sure you would like to go through with this?" Sora asked, placing her hands on Sayuris shoulders. Sayuri nodded after a second, and Sora sighed lightly. "Then lets start training tomorrow at dawn, alright?"

"Yes ma'am!" Sayuri saluted playfully, and the two of them shared a laugh.

"Hm, we still have time before dinner so how about i tell you some stories about my adventures as a Hashira?"

At dawn, the next day

The air was really thin on the mountain where Sora chose to train Sayuri, and the breezes were bone chilling. The sun was just starting to rise and peek through the trees, shining onto where Sora was waiting for Sayuri to arrive for her first day of intense training as a tsuguko.

"Sora, im here!" Sayuri shouted, looking around for Sora in the spot she was instructed to go. "Sora are yo- WHAT?! HOW ARE YOU EVEN DOING THAT?!"

"Calm down, Yuri. Im only balancing on my hand, it's quite easy. You should be able to this after a little bit of training." Sora sighed, getting off the cliff edge and jumping down to where Sayuri was. "Now, im not the best at this whole training aspect, so bare with me. We are both learning as we go, hm?"
