Chapter 20

Sora was so engulfed in the books, that she had lost track of time. Eventually Sanemi knocked on the door, as she hadn't come out in 3 hours.

"You alright?" He asked through the screen door, pulling Sora out of the books. She quickly closed the book and got up, placing it back hidden on the shelf before opening the door.

"I must have lost trace of time.. Sorry if i worried you, Nemi!" Sora said, scratching her head sheepishly. "What time is it anyways?"

"Around 4pm." He said, and she looked at him wide eyed. She quickly pushed past him, making her way to the room where Storm and Snow were. Sanemi followed behind her, wondering where she was going.

"I completely forgot about you two, im sorry!" Sora mumbled, scooping up the kittens and cradling them in her arms. She gave them both forehead kisses, making sure to give them lots of love.

Sanemi just stood at the doorframe, watching her hold the kittens with care. He didn't say anything, not wanting to bug her.

"Oh right! Nemi, what would you like me to make for dinner tonight?" Sora smiled up at him, sitting down with the kittens. He just shrugged, and Sora frowned. Usually she had a plan as to what she would make, but this time she didn't. "How about... udon! I can make it with a couple side dishes, and it should be really good!"

"Sure."

"Woohoo! Udon udon udon!" She cheered, holding the kittens up in the air. One of her favourite dishes were udon, so she was happy.

"Its finished!" Sora smiled, setting the table. They washed their hands, and sat down to eat. "Oh this is reallyyyy good! Don't you think, Nemi?" Sora asked after taking a couple bites, and Sanemi nodded lightly.

They finished eating their food, and Sora brought the kittens out of their room to feed them. She set their bowls of cat food in front of them, watching mainly Snow, as she tended to eat too fast.

"Gah i wish i could train or something! I wish i was warned about me slicing my hand before using the technique.. stupid Ryo.." she mumbled, and Sanemi looked at her. He was sitting down in the corner of the room, a calmer expression on his face.

"Who's Ryo?" He asked, and Sora looked up at him from Snow. She thought about something for a second, looking else where.

"He is... well he's my uncle!" She said, holding up her finger. She technically wasn't lying, because Ryo was her actual uncle. "He used rainbow breathing too! So did Ryu! They were my dads brothers!"

"Were?"

"Ah, yes. Im not too sure on how they died, but before they did, Ryu was the one who trained me to use the 6 techniques i know now!" Sora smiled, and Sanemi just nodded lightly.

"Wait, 6? Aren't there 7 forms?" He asked, and Soras eyes widened. She didn't think this conversation through fully.

'Ryo what do i do?'

"I don't know. You got yourself into this, get yourself out."

'But what if I accidentally tell him you have been training me inside my head? Ill sound crazy to him!'

"Im sure he wouldn't think you were crazy if you did tell him."

'So.. i can tell him?'

"Whatever. You will just make yourself look stupider than you already are."

'Rude.'
