Sora arrived back at the rainbow estate at mid afternoon, setting down her bag on the floor of her room. It seemed like everyone was out, as the estate was nothing but silence. She peaked around, looking for any sign of them being there.
She looked inside the guest room after knocking, and saw Tsuyoi's things neatly placed on the small wooden desk in the corner of the room. He was staying with Sora after what had happened and had just gotten settled last night, so he couldn't have gone far.
She was just about to call out their names before Sayuri popped inside from the backyard.
"Oh Sora! You're back! We're just outside in case you were wondering!" She giggled with a grin, and Sora sighed in relief. Sayuri grabbed whatever she had come in for from the kitchen before hopping back outside. Sora followed her, and saw Tsuyoi and Koi talking under some shade, and Sayuri was running right back to Saeyako with a jar.
Koi noticed Sora standing there, and waved her over. She ignored whatever Sayuri was doing, and made her way to Koi and Tsuyoi.
"Welcome back Sora." Koi smiled, and noticed she was wearing the pin he had made for her. He nodded gently, and she smiled.
"It's good to see my estate is still in one piece." She chuckled, sitting down next to Tsuyoi.
"Koi was just catching me up to date about your.. situation." Tsuyoi explained, and she nodded gently.
"Its good you're being informed, and if you have any questions you can ask me whenever." She smiled, and Tsuyoi returned it.
"I'll be right back, it seems Sayuri needs my help with something." Koi sighed lightly with a chuckle, seeing Sayuri waving him over aggressively.
Sora and Tsuyoi sat there for a minute, neither of them speaking. Tsuyoi broke the silence after a moment.
"So, who's that Shinazugawa guy you're always talking to?" He asked, watching Sora blush lightly.
"He's just a friend." She answered after a second, and Tsuyoi sighed. It was quite obvious she had some sort of feelings for him, even Tsuyoi could tell and he hadn't seen them together much. It was clear based off of how much she talked about the guy.
"Don't even try to lie, Sora. I can see right through them." He said with a slight smile, and she bit the inside of her mouth.
"You're just like Kanroji." She hummed, causing Tsuyoi to laugh. He had met Mitsuri once before, and she was a sweet and honest person. He knew she was a good person straight off the bat, and he knew just how close Sora and her were. "It's a bit complicated at the moment with me and Nemi.. i want to focus on slaying Muzan before i get into a serious relationship. Its a precaution just in case anything happens to one of us."
"You shouldn't think like that, Sora." Tsuyoi sighed, shaking his head slightly.
"I am right though. Its possible something could happen to any of us in the corps, and i don't want to risk it. I want to wait until after Muzan is gone. Then, if we're still alive, i'll admit my feelings." She said, pressing her hands together tightly. She hated it, but she was right. She didn't want to get his hopes up just in case she did die in the process of protecting them. That would make it even worse.
