Salty breeze slice my skin cold,
As the sea roars and the waves unfold.
Walk me under the midnight sky,
Pitch black, we fumble on white lies.
Knowing myself, my heart unguarded,
Tomorrow I'll wake grieving and scarred.
But the sun won't bother us yet so soon,
Let us hold hands as we stare at the moon,
Or let's drown in each other's lustful gaze,
Though no sin shall be shed nor set us ablaze.
Let's share secrets we keep in dark shelves
Nobody is awake now, we can be ourselves.
Let's dance and sing like we belong,
The echoing dreams from the city is our song.
I wish we get lost in the moment forever,
Let time stretch into an eternal fever,
For when dawn breaks, this dream will end,
The pain from this memory might never mend.
