Chapter 19 (What a Kiss)

(Alex POV)

I closed my front door falling back against it.

I was in deep, Hayden kissed me and I was falling hard

I squealed like a little girl, my heart was pounding a thousand minutes per second, my stomach felt like butterflies and all of this because Hayden kissed me. I didn't even know how we ended up like we did but I really didn't care because I was in heaven. I made my way to the room climbing out of the dress and placing it on its hanger while I showered and got ready for bed not that I sleep ever came to me

The next day when Amanda came I was still sleeping, the whole night I tossed and turned while images of Hayden kissing me played over in my head and the dreams that came with that didn't help much either

"Honey I'm home" she yelled but I groaned
"Go away" I yelled when she entered my bedroom
"Looks like someone had a fantastic time" she said flopping on the bed as I pulled the covers over my head and I groaned peeking at the clock on my side table
"You know it is like 10 in the morning" I mumbled and she pulled my covers off
"And that is why I came to wake you, you cannot stay in bed the whole morning, come on spill" she said and I smiled a bright smile
"Hayden kissed me" I mumbled but she couldn't quite hear
"What I didn't catch that" she said again as I dropped the covers more

"Hayden kissed me and it was amazing" I said again and Amanda smiled
"Oh I told you something will happen, come on I want to hear everything" she said and I sat up
"I really want coffee first" I said and she held the cup towards me
"Done" she replied and I smiled
"Always ready okay..." I started with my story telling her about the whole night of me and Hayden, I told her he didn't leave my side once and when he did he made sure that I was okay, I told her about the bidding and how much Hayden spend on my bidding till the fact that I won a date with him and last but not least I told her about the kiss all in this while I was speaking she was smiling like a crazy cat

"I knew it you're in love with him" she pointed at me and I blushed
"Amanda I barely know the guy and besides love is the last thing on my mind and I guess on his also, we just went on the second date and besides it was just a kiss" I replied which sounded weird in my ears
"Tell that to yourself but I know when I am right" she said and I smiled falling back into the covers
"Yeah always the smarty pants" I replied
"Well at least it is better than the first kiss you had with him" she said as I thought back to when he kissed me but I was so confused not kissing him back
"Definitely better" I replied

We spend the whole day talking about everything from the previous night then she told me about the new guy she met and she thinks that maybe he was the one. In this case I told her she said that about all the guys she met but she had a glint in her eyes that told me maybe he was really the one. We ended up at the grocery store so I could full my cupboards again it was a really good day then my phone went off telling me I received a text

When I opened it I saw it was from Hayden

'Just wanted to check in and see if you were okay and to say thanks again for last night, I really had a wonderful time'

So I texted back because it was weird now that he actually send me a text afterwards

'Hey everything is good doing some grocery shopping, I also had a great time last night can't wait for the next one'

But before I could retract the message I send it. Shit now he will think I was one of those clingy women who just want to go on dates I didn't even know if he wanted it again, till my phone went off

'Me too just say when and I will be ready' was his reply and I smiled at my phone
'I will thank you and I'll see you at work' I replied still smiling
'See you on Monday Alex and please keep safe' was his last reply and I nodded even though he couldn't see me
