Chapter 22 (Surprise, Surprise)

By 12 the following day Hayden did pick me up I still didn't know what was going on I didn't even know where we were going

"Are you going to tell me what is going on?" I asked as Hayden while he was driving his sport BMW
"Nope" he simply replied with a smile
"Are you going to tell me where we are going?" I asked again
"Alex as I told just wait and see" He replied and I huffed back into the seat

After a short drive we came to a standstill in front of a small but beautiful building I looked outside and had no idea where we were, Hayden climbed out of the car and over to my side to open my door holding out his hand for he to take

"Is this the part where you kill me and dump my body somewhere?" I asked confused
"Do you always have to be so dramatic here put this on" he said giving me a blindfold
"This is really kinky Hayden even for you" I laughed as he laughed with me
"Alex" he warned and I placed the blindfold over my eyes
"Okay I will guide you just follow me" he said and I was worried
"Please don't let me fall" I grabbed onto him as he placed his hand on my lower back and holding my arm with his other
"I won't I promise" he whispered in my ear
After a long walk, well it felt because of the blindfold I felt Hayden's breath on my neck again

"Okay you can take it off" he said as I pulled it off my eyes
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" everyone and I mean everyone yelled scaring the shit out of me and I looked back at Hayden

"Shit I forgot my birthday?" I said shocked and he smiled as everyone laughed
"We thought you would" Amanda said coming towards me giving me a then it was Jamie's turn
"Wait, wait you guys planned this?" I asked
"No actually we told Hayden and this was all his idea" Jamie said to me as I turned towards him
"This was all you?" I asked as he smiled
"Happy Birthday Alex" he said placing a kiss on my lips and I smiled
"I can't believe I actually forgot my Birthday" I gushed and turned towards everyone again
"You guys know I hate surprises and this is just wow thank you" I said still shocked
"Yeah well we thought you could use a break"
"And I think you deserved something special, because you do so much for everyone it was time we returned the favor" Hayden finished and I went to hug him again
"Thank you" I whispered into his chest
I walked into the crowd as everyone congratulated me till I came to a stop
"And you must be Anthony right?" I asked a cute guy standing with Jamie
"Ah yes and the great Alex I heard so much about you guys" he said shaking my hand
"Well it is good to finally meet you Anthony, just one thing" I said as he moved closer
"Jamie is under my wing and if you break his heart"
"You will break my bones I got it" he replied for me and I smiled
"I like you already" I smiled at him while Jamie looked nervously at me
"Don't worry Jamie he is in the clear" I told him and he shook his head while I laughed, I mingled with everyone and chatted

Till I saw the same woman Hayden has been with for the last two days, why did he bring her? What was she doing here? Until she walked towards me shit think Alex think all of a sudden I was nervous, but it was too late

"Hi you must be Alex" she extended her hand out to me for a shake and I put on a smile
"Hi yes and you are?" I asked and she smiled more
"Oh I'm Nadia, and old friend of Hayden's and the owner of this place" she said and I looked at her she really was beautiful
"Nice to meet you" I said to her unsure if I really was happy to meet her
"Look when Hayden told me he met someone special and wanted to do all of this, I was filled with joy" she said and knocked me off my feet wait what?
"Wait you were?" I asked frowning
"Of Course I couldn't wait to help him set all this up and then I got to meet you"
"I wanted to meet you two days before but Hayden told me you were out on lunch and then the other night you were in a rush so I wanted to be here to say thank you for making Hayden a better man" she gave he a huge hug
"Oh my God, wait What?" I still couldn't wrap my head around this
"I am so sorry but aren't you and Hayden like... Like together" I said almost face palming myself and she laughed
"No gross I can't imagine me and Hayden that would be so wrong he is like a brother to me and I am really not into the guys if you know what I mean" she said and I laughed just then I felt someone behind me and stiffened
"So what are you two talking about?" Hayden said as he hugged me from behind
"Oh I was just meeting the famous Alex here and telling her about the party" she winked at me and I mouthed thank you
"Can I steal her away for a second" Hayden asked and she smiled wider
"Sure you two lovebirds are so cute" she said as I turned to Hayden seeing him eye her
"I want to show you something" he said to me and I nodded
