Chapter 27 (Oh Shit!)

I woke up in the worst way possible with a telephone ringing in the background, I opened my eyes and saw I was still at my desk, when I lifted my head papers and clips were stuck to my face trying to get them off I successfully succeeded

Why on earth did my back hurt? And why on earth was I still in the office? Then it hit me full force I fell asleep in my office, shit

I stood up quickly and ran to the mirror yip my hair was a mess I was still in the same clothes as yesterday, luckily I had a spare toothbrush and blouse in my cupboard you never know when something like this will happen, I quickly brushed my teeth and tried to comb my hair only ending up pulling it in a messy bun.

I took off my blouse and froze in my spot when I heard a knock on my door

Shit I was only standing in a bra, why would this happen to me now of all days?

"No, no don't come in" I yelled trying to grab the new blouse but that person clearly did not understand the meaning of two no's the knob turned

Shit I forgot to lock it

"I said don't..." and in walked Hayden the man in all his glory while I was still trying to get a blouse on my white bra on full view

"Fuck" he said closing the door quickly and here I was still struggling half naked in front of Hayden
"I said don't come in" I looked at him as he stalked closer like a predator stalking his prey, God he looked handsome with the stubble growing on his chin and his tie was loosely hanging around his neck yet I stood there like a deer in headlights
"Now this is a way to be welcomed back" he said grabbing me by the waste and pulling me in for a passionate kiss

When he pulled away he only ended up kissing my neck as I tried to get the blouse on again

"Hayden" I tried to say but it came out more like a moan
"Alex" he only teased
"I'm trying to get dressed" I said once more but it didn't help as I gave into his kisses
"Welcome back" I breathlessly said
"It is definitely good to be back" he said in between his kissing
After a while he pulled away so I could get my blouse on he helped me to button it up

"Do I want to know why you were without a blouse?" he smiled
"Oh I fell asleep here...In the office" I didn't know how say I was ashamed of how I looked
"And you just so happen to have a change of clothes?" he asked me placing small kisses on my collarbone again taking my mind off everything

"I had an extra blouse here" my head fell back giving him more access
"Well then I decided on a perfect time to come back" he replied and looked back at him
"I missed you" I whispered looking deep into his eyes
"I'm back now" he gave me one more kiss
"You have any plans tonight?" he asked me and I nodded no
"Good I'm taking you out for dinner" he said walking out of my office leaving me standing there in a complete daze

I was working again almost done with the contract just a few more tweaks here and there than it could go back to Damon. When I decided it was done with working I walked to Hayden's office knocking on the door
"Come in" he yelled I saw him busy on his phone as he held up a hand to me

"Yes Brain I will make sure I get it to you" he said over the phone and I took a seat across from him while he looked at me and spoke into the phone once more
"Sure I will" there was a pause

"Yes good" he said and ended the call

"Sorry I will be with you now" he said to me as he typed on his laptop and dialed on his phone again
"Mr. Jake can you please send me the..." I tuned him out and I got a brilliant idea in my head, I stood up and walked slowly behind him making sure I dragged my finger across the table over his arm and then stopped at his shoulder but he looked at each movement I made
"What are you doing?" he asked me as I placed small kisses in his neck. His typing became more slower and I knew it was working
"Jake I will call you back" Hayden said over the phone placing it back on the table
"Oh I'm just showing you how much I missed you" I replied sucking on his neck now as he sucked in a deep breath
"What the hell are you doing to me?" He said and pulled me unto his lap, placing both his hands behind my neck kissing hard till there was a knock on his door

"What now?" he said and I started to get off his lap trying to pull my skirt back in its place
"Come in" he yelled when he saw I looked better, in Jane walked when she saw me she looking sorry

"Sorry Mr. Blacc I just wanted to remind you of your 8 o'clock meeting with Mr. Owen tonight and to tell you I was leaving now" she said and I smiled to her
"See you tomorrow Jane" I replied and she smiled back at me
"Shit I forgot about the meeting, thank you Jane see you tomorrow" Hayden said to her as she left and looked back at me
"I am so sorry I forgot about the meeting can we please move..."
"Hayden don't worry" I replied as I was already at his side kissing him softly on his lips as he grabbed my butt pulling me back on top of him
"I...will make...it up to...you" he said in between the kissing and I smiled while he kissed me I quickly stood up from his lap after a long while of making out

"Okay you have to get to your meeting before you are late but I think I am going to have to give you a few minutes" I said pointing at his erection
"Fuck you see what you are doing to me" he said grabbing there and trying to hide it
"I'm sorry" I fluttered my eye lashes

"You can be glad I have a meeting otherwise I would have taken you on this table" when he said that it shut me up I looked at him with big eyes
"I thought so" he laughed
"Let me get you home so I can get to my meeting" he said and I walked in front of him

"Yes boss" I replied and he pulled me back before I could make it to the elevator

"You know I hate it when you say that" he whispered standing against my back as his breath fanned my earlobe
"Oh no you love it" I cooed and he laughed
"Okay remember Jane's baby shower is Saturday so I won't be available" I told him and he pouted
"She will be so surprised" he said to me as we stepped out of the elevator
"Well she deserves it after having a boss like you" I replied but I didn't want to see his reaction
"You really will be the death of me" he replied and I climbed in the car laughing
"Hello James" I said when he looked at us
"Evening Alex" he replied
"To Alex apartment then I have a meeting at Le Blanc James" Hayden told him as he nodded and drove off

After a while he dropped me at home and told me he will phone me after he was done

I was in over the moon, Hayden made me so happy yet I didn't see what was coming

The next day I got the contact done early, finally I had the end result I wanted to scream because I was happy. Now I needed to get it to Damon, I grabbed my bag and went to Jane

"Hey Jane I'm going to Tech Building if Hayden is looking for me I will be at the venue afterwards" I said to her and she nodded he told me he was busy with a conference call so I didn't want to disturbed him
"I will let him know see you Monday Alex" she said and I smiled luckily she didn't ask anything about the venue
"See you Monday Jane" I lied because she didn't know her baby shower was tomorrow and her husband said we will keep it a surprise

I pulled out my phone dialled Amanda's number once she answered she sounded out of breath
"Why do you sound like you just ran a marathon?" I asked and she laughed over the phone
"I have been running around with his baby shower thing making sure everything was perfect" she hastily replied
"Thank you Amanda I am just going to drop off the contract for Damon then I will see you at the venue" I replied
"You got it done?" she asked and I giggled
"Yes finally now Damon just has to go through it than they will have a meeting and then I can go on with my life" I said and she squalled
"Now we can celebrate see you at the venue" she replied

When I entered the Tech building I got greeted again by the people working there, I knocked on Damon's door

"Enter" he yelled and I opened the door
"There you go" I said placing the folder on his desk
"You got it done?" he asked shocked
"Just like I said I would now I have to go" I said to him but he didn't say anything back I only heard him call Shane over the phone which was weird

Amanda and I almost spend the whole night decorating the venue and spoke about kids and all that family stuff. We were really just having fun after we were done we went back to my place getting an early night for tomorrow's big surprise
