I get into the balcony where he was waiting for me.
"Thanks for the help, Miss." he says looking at me and back to the view. I came and stood beside him.
"your welcome." I say. I was hesitating.
"so?" he says first, staring at me. I breath and gulped.
"about the picture I saw from earlier. Is he your brother?" he was still looking at me with those serious eyes. "I'm talking about Seokjin." I said.
"You know him?" he was clearly surprised.
"yeah." I nod looking down.
"Not from blood." he says. I glance at him, confused. "not the same mother." I get it now. The look on his face didn't like the topic. Me too. It makes me anxious because of his behavior.
"Ah, I see." I said. He comes a bit closer. Looking down on me.
"Now tell me, how do you know him?" he asks with seriousness. I gulped again.
"I somehow met him at the toy mall." I said.
"Toy mall?" he says, raising one eyebrow.
"Yeah. I was buying some toys for the orphan kids." I say.
"He never goes to something like that. Unless there is a reason." he says, chuckling. I didn't say anything, only looking at him. "so, tell me who was with you that day." he says. I was taken aback.
"no one." Why did I lie? My mouth spoke without thinking.
"no one?" he says, coming one step ahead as I backed away one step backwards.
"Yeah... no one." I said feeling nervous.
"I hate pretty girls with lies, Angelina." shit. Before he says anything in return, Granny comes.
"I will be using those for a while, Tae. Now let's go Angie." she turns around and walks away to wait at the door, looking at the books in her hand.
"Well, we will continue this later." he says and walks inside. I let my breath out slowly. How long did I hold my breath?
"bye bye!" Granny waved her hand up for Taehyung happily. She got inside our apartment after I opened the door for her. I glanced at him.
"See you soon." he says. I nod slowly and walk in. He got on my nerves when he asked about who was with me. I sigh and shake the thoughts away.
Jeongguk
"It's good her father spoke with her about not to get out of the house at 20:00." Seokjin says while slurping the noodles childishly. I sigh.
"It's best for her." I said honestly. He nods.
"of course!"
"excuse me." I said and picked up the phone. "hello?"
"Hey Jeongguk. I think there is some small problem." My uncle's secretary says.
"and the problem is?" I stood up, worried.
"some gang who are waiting now, wants to speak with Mr. Jeon's relatable. They didn't took me serious." I sigh in frustration.
"Alright, I get it. I will be on my way in five minutes." the line ended. Darn it. Who is going to take care of Angelina? I glanced at Seokjin who kept on slurping the noodles. I think he is good for that.
Taehyung
Seokjin... since how long have I not heard that name? I left out a small chuckle. I glance at the kitchen counter. Angelina, how can she be so careless? And so brave enough to stand in front of her kidnapper? Stupid. My smile lifted up at the thought of her. She is funny.
