At the dinner time I was silent the whole time. Granny noticed it. Including Jeongguk, his cold eyes with a strong glare that was looking through me. I only bowed my head low eating without catching any eye contact with him. After the dinner I was in my room the whole hour until the night hit in. I sighed seeing how late it was. 12.45 AM. Probably Granny is sleeping by now. I walked out of my room to the bathroom. After being done I walked out seeing Jeongguk leaning on my door room. Seeing me here, he opened the door getting in. I sighed and followed him.
"something is wrong?" I asked closing the door slowly. We now are face to face while standing.
"yes. And it's you." he spoke to me with his bloody voice.
"me? What are you talkin–"
"you have to know one thing. The top of all the rules." he interrupted me and still went on with his words. "You can't fall for me." he stated, looking all serious with serenity. My eyes go wide open, pursuing my lips into a line thin. I didn't want to laugh out loud. But couldn't help it and did. I was holding my stomach. Fall for him? Never.
"I thought it was something horrible, serious at least." I continue to laugh, here, at this point and hour, in front of him, whose face wasn't even with confusion.
"stop." he said and I stopped. At least tried to.
"alright." I say, stopped laughing and glanced at him. Now it's my turn. "Are you crazy?" I said, making him raise his brows. "How am I supposed to love you? You are only a protector. Don't worry, I will never. Now you might go. I have to sleep." I opened the door for him to go. He nodded slowly and walked outside the room and ran down the stairs. I closed the door quickly and jumped on the bed. My mind is screaming. I felt like I wasn't myself. My heart is beating so fast that it might explode. I placed my palm on my heart.
"of course I will not love him." I said before closing my eyes. Ready to see new dreams. Or…The same one.
Waking up and getting out of the bed, seeing the calendar on the door with a smile.
Two days left.
I got myself ready and went downstairs.
"morning!" I said kissing Granny on the cheek. "I'm going to give toys to the kids. I might come late." I told her and she said okay and got my shoes on. Realized Jeongguk wasn't in the living room, I just smiled wildly idiotic heading outside. Good thing I got myself a hoodie on, the weather was a bit chilly from yesterday's pouring. Feeling somewhat someone was behind. I turned around fast that my neck might have been cracked.
"How long have you been here?!" I asked, shocked to see Jeongguk behind me the whole time.
"since you woke up?" Without saying anything I walked off rolling my eyes.
"Wait here" I told him to wait outside.
"Unfortunately I can't let that happen." I scoffed, looking at him.
"this place is unharmful, stop being a jerk pain in the brain." I told him and got inside.
Jeongguk
Jerk Pain in the brain? Aren't we the opposite? Damn Angelina, You are making me go crazy. I should not have agreed to this job. It's been an hour since she is still in. I can hear her laughs and loud talks with the orphan kids. This place seems peaceful. Wonder what it's like to play with them. I don't remember much since when did I have a peaceful moment? Never.
"Catch ya!" Seokjin jumps in front of me.
"What do you want?" I ask.
"nothing. Just to see how your life is with her." my fist clenched ready to punch that 'world wide handsome face'.
