Y/N POV

I have been gone back home in Toronto after the race in Laguna Seca. It has been a week since I last encountered with Prema and haven't heard of them since. Not going to lie, I'm getting a paranoid about the situation with Prema as I am seeing most of the other British F3 Championship teams starting to finalise their drivers for the upcoming season but Prema hasn't contacted me yet.

The situation is not looking good for me currently. With Prema not contacting me and Legacy Autosport already having two drivers for the upcoming season, it looks that I am without a drive for the upcoming season and if I want to keep my Formula 1 dreams alive, I need to think quick and find a drive myself very soon.

Suddenly, my phone rang showing that there was an incoming phone call from an Italian number. I don't know who it was but I assume it was from Prema so without any hesitation I picked up the phone.

Y/N: Hello?

???: Hello is this Y/N?

Y/N: Yes this is Y/N.

???: This is Andrea Grumi from Prema Racing's Formula 3 department. I am the team coordinator of Prema's Formula 3 team.

Y/N: Hi Mr. Grumi, it's a pleasure to speak to you.

Andrea Grumi: Sorry Y/N, but I'm here to inform you that whilst your result and performances have been brilliant this season we regre to inform you that we have decided to take up another candidate for our European Formula 3 Championship the upcoming season. I hope you understand.

Y/N: Yes I understand, it was an honour to a candidate for the seat.

Andrea Grumi: On behalf of the whole Prema team we wish you the best.

As I hung up, I threw my phone really hard and smashed it. I can't believe this, I have worked my absolute best to try and beat other candidates. How could they do this to me? They tell me that they should be offering me a seat very soon and now they call and tell me that I didn't get the seat. I just can't believe that this has happened. I was very angry at that moment and was about to smash the windows of my room until my mom came into my room.

Mom: Y/N honey, is everything alright?

Y/N: NO, NOTHING IS ALRIGHT (screams).

Mom: Ok honey, I'll leave you alone to calm down.

My mom left me alone there in my room. There was nothing but me and my thoughts. I was very mad about the situation with Prema but I guess these things happens. Currently, I am without a drive for the upcoming season and was about to lose any hope of a Formula 1 dream. If I want to keep my dreams alive I need to find a drive for next season quick. Out of curiosity, I decided to google who got the Prema drive for the next season.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? NICHOLAS LATIFI GOT THE PREMA DRIVE OVER ME. Seeing this made me even more mad than before. I worked so hard to beat Nicholas Latifi in the Championship and he is the one who got the drive over me. I threw my phone again after reading the article but this time because the door was opened, my mom heard what was going on in my room.
