notes
Heather is the most popular girl in school, and her character is very snobby at first. Her father works in the lab (her mother died a couple of years ago), and she was in the parking lot, ready to pick him up, on the night Eleven escaped. She attempted to follow the girl into woods, but quickly lost sight of her. She asked her father about, but he told her not to worry about it. When word gets around the next day that a young boy went missing, Heather becomes suspicious.
Steve Harrington invited her to a small party at his house consisting of him, Tommy H, Carol, Nancy Wheeler, and Barbara Holland. She agrees to go to the party, but when the two couples go upstairs to have sex, she decides to go home, sharing a few words with Barbara Holland.
The next day, Nancy approaches Heather, asking if she had seen Barabra leave the party. This makes Heather grow even more suspicious, and she asks her father about it again. He doesn't answer her, and instead tells the lab that his daughter is growing suspicious.
Brenner sends a search for the girl immediately, and they found her wandering the woods curiously. They took her to the lab, and locked her up. She was stuck for hours before she felt a strong, burning sensation inside of her. She felt an undeniable, and painful urge to scream. So she did, and the door to her room flew off the hinges, allowing her to escape.
She quickly ran out of the lab, and began searching for the girl. The first place she thought of was the Byer's residence. After all, Will Byers was the first person to go missing. When she arrived at the house, she found many police cars outside. Seeing as there was no way she would be able to have a private conversation with any of the Byers, she decided to leave, and come back the next day.
When she was sure her father wasn't home, she snuck into her house, going into her father's office, and finding two files. One was completely filled out and marked 'Subject 011', and the other was only half way filled out and marked 'subject 009'. The girl was shocked to find her name on the file. On the section marked 'powers', one thing was listed (only one). She heard noises downstairs, and snuck out the window, taking the files with her.
She ended up spending the night in the woods, much to her dismay, and the next morning she walked back to the Byers. Jonathan answered the door and was shocked to see Heather Michelle standing on his front porch.
She told him everything that had happened, and he wasn't to sure he could believe her. He told her he had to leave to see the veiwing of his brothers body. When Joyce walked out the room she had been in, she told the girl that she had heard everything the girl said, and that she knew her son was alive. She told the girl to come back later, and they would discuss everything in further detail.
Heather was in town, buying a change of clothes, when Jonathan Byers approached her, telling her that he believed her and that him and Nancy needed her help. Heather than joined their team searching the woods for a way to find Will, when Nancy was taken into the Upside Down. After she got out, Heather spent the night at her house along with Jonathan.
She goes with Nancy and Jonathan to buy hunting gear, and saw what was written about Nancy on the movie theater showing. She tried to break up the fight between Jonathan and Steve, but didn't succeed.
She went to the police station with Nancy and Jonathan, and Flo still told Nancy that Jonathan loved her, which for some reason, made Heather feel a pang of jealousy.
She was at the Byer's house when the demogorgan showed up, and she screamed, making the demogorgan fly back, shocking the other three people in the house.
When Heather meets with the group once again, she is told that her father was killed by the demogorgan. Leaving her parentless, and Hopper offers for her to live with him for a while. Heather knows about El, and she gets really close to her. She paints her nails, watches soap operas with her.
Heather denies she has feelings for Jonathan, and she doesn't hang out with him constantly, but she does talk to him occasionally at school.
At the Halloween party, Heather drunkily tells Jonathan how much she likes him, but he doesn't believe, and he thinks it's just the alcohol talking. Jonathan left Heather alone for a second to get a napkin to help clean off her face that had alcohol on it, and when he left Billy approached her. He tried flirting with her, and she kept telling him to leave but he wouldn't until Jonathan came over and took her home.
Heather went with Nancy and Jonathan to Murray's, where he figured out that Heather liked Jonathan, but was too scared to admit, which she denies. Instead of them happening the same way jancy did, Heather continues to deny her feelings until after every was over, after the gate was closer, and the mind flayer was out of Will. She tells him that after everything they've been through, she doesn't want to deny her feelings anymore.
Have Mike get really mad at her when he finds out she knew about El being alive and living with her.
Heather helps El get ready for the snowball. She does her makeup and hair, and helps her pick out a dress. Heather helps Jonathan with taking pics of the kids at the snowball.
In season 3, Heather should work at the gap. She should help El and Max with picking outifts and all of that stuff. Heather should also be really close with Will and Max. There should definitely be a moment where Will teaches her how to play dnd.
At the hospital, Heather should wait in the lobby with the kids, but she should run upstairs in front of the kids, and after El slams the huge glob thing, Heather should scream, which throws it out the window.
Heather doesn't lose her power, but she does almost die. She tried to run in to save El, but the Mind Flayer flew her back, slamming her into a wall, and renduring her unconscious from the impact. It should be written that she was in the hospital for at least a week. When she wakes up in the hospital a couple of days later, she is told that Hopper died. When Joyce offers for her to move in, she denys it, saying that everyone she lives with ends up dead, so she buys her own small house, on Cherry Lane, next door to Max.
Her goodbye to Jonathan, El, Will, and Joyce when they move should be emotional for all of them. She should start to cry, not a lot, but a few tears. After all, she's saying goodbye to someone who was practically her sister, her boyfriend, one of her best friends, and someone she sees as a second mom.
