summary

In which Ten finally escapes 2 years after El and is desperate to keep the promise she once made to you

plot

Ten and Eleven grew up in the lab together. Ten was a year older and naturally protected her. She made a promise to her, vowing that she would always protect her and find her when she's in danger, but the day after she made that promise she was sent to a Russian base.

They brought her back to Hawkins with them so she could re-open the gate, and as soon as she does she makes a run for it. She crawls through the vents for what felt like hours until she finally reached an opening in Scoops Troop where she met Steve, Dustin, and Robin. While talking to Robin and Dustin she hears two girls laughing, and she could've sworn one sounded familiar. She peaked out the window and barely recognized El, but she knew it was her. She ran after them, and was finally reunited with El after so many years.

Now she helps them by using her powers (atmokinesis and telekinesis) to take down the monster she released, all while keeping the promise she made years ago and protecting El.
