Sams POV

Felicity and I had been talking a lot about how Mr. Steele just happened to go missing not long after we found the names in the book. We are both getting really sketchy vibes from the whole thing. I knew Thea was taking it hard, that's how I found my self with her, Mrs. Queen, and the COO of Queen Consolidated in their living room when Oliver walked in.

"Surely, there are contingencies for these types of situations." Mrs. Queen says when I hear the front door close. "Bring someone over from our London office, perhaps."

"It's not solely a matter of the day-to-day operations." The COO of Queen Consolidated, Ned, explains when Oliver walked in. "We have accountants and the vice presidents to do that. It's about perception, public confidence."

"The company will be fine."

"I don't mean to be indelicate but this is the second time in five years that the CEO of Queen Consolidated has vanished under mysterious circumstances."

"I don't need you to remind me of that." Mrs. Queen says standing up.

"The last thing I wanna do is upset you." Ned says also standing up.

"Well, then you should consider this visit doubly disappointing. Good day."

Once Ned leaves, Oliver speaks up, "Who was that?"

"Ned Foster, the COO of the company." Mrs. Queen explains.

"He wants mom to take Walter's place." Thea speaks up from beside me.

"He says that the company's stock price has been damaged by Walter's absence and my stepping in would help settle the board. But I told him that I needed to be home for my family."

"Mom, Thea and I are fine. Even Sam." Oliver says. "We can manage here without you. This sounds like something everyone needs you to do."

"Well, maybe I don't care what everyone needs." Mrs. Queen says raising her voice a little before leaving the room.

"She's gonna be alright Thea." Oliver says when he sees Thea's face.

Just then Diggle walks in, "Mr. Queen, we're gonna have to get going if you wanna make your dentist appointment." Dig informs Oliver. "Now, sir." Thea then starts walking away. Just before Oliver and Dig make it out of the living room I hear Dig say to Oliver, "Eyewitnesses placed a '72..." before they were out of earshot. I thought Dig said dentist appointment not that they were listening in on a police scanner or something.

The next day I was with Thea on her couch as Oliver stood to my right, watching TV, "Eyewitnesses contend that numerous lives would've been lost if not for the timely intervention of the vigilante. But these were not the actions of a vigilante. What's been described are the actions of a hero."

"Looks like the vigilante isn't a vigilante anymore, but a hero according to the news and I couldn't agree more." I say making Oliver turn around with a smile.

"What's got you all smiley?" Thea asks him. "Your new club's a briquette."

"It was under construction before. Now it's just more under construction." Oliver explains.

Just then Mrs. Queen walks in, "Good morning." She greets us.

"Sharp suit, mom." Thea says.

"You look good Mrs. Queen." I compliment as Thea and I stand up.

"Not used to seeing you without your bedroom wrapped around you." Thea states.

"Oh, I could hardly go to the office in my pajamas. And thank you Sam." Mrs. Queens says making me smile. "I'm taking Walter's position at the office."

"What changed your mind?" Oliver asks.

"Not what, who." Mrs. Queen corrects before looking at Thea. "My daughter. My family. And I promise you Walter will get back to us. I will keep looking for him and I will find him. And I'll see you for dinner."

Oliver turns around to see me smiling and Thea confused. "What?" He asks.

"Just feeling the whiplash." Thea explains. "She went from shut-in to chairman pretty fast."

"Come on, Thea." I say turning to fully face her. "You should be happy shes finally going out and working without having to force her."

"Sam's right. It just sounds like you got through to her." Oliver says agreeing with me.

"Yeah, I guess." Thea says sounding unconvinced.

A/N Just found out I can add the photos of the outfits from my computer instead of my phone. Also sorry this is so short. This episode was mostly Queen Family stuff and the firefighter thing.
