Chapter 3

Skyler's P.O.V

Darren and I were working on our art prject. We decided to paint a portriat about a guy and girl on the beach and just relaxing.

We began painting our portrait. I notice that jerk kept staring at me. Jeez can he stop. Sometimes he would wink at me, but ignored him.

"Darren?" "What Skyler?" "I was wondering who did you invite to come with us today to go shopping?" Darren looked at me and smirked.

"Someone." "Who?" "Someone that you know." He looked suspicious. I just shurgged it off and kept working.

We worked until Darren left. I was alone working until jerk decided to come up to me. "Hi Skyler." I turned around.

"Hello jerk." "Ouch. When will you stop calling me that." "When you say sorry for what happened the other day."

I heard footsteps walk away. "Phew." I turned around and saw a note. "I'm sorry. -Sebastian." Really that's he best he can do.

I was really mad at him. Darren came back with some paints. "Hey. What happened? You look mad." "Nothing happened."

I just kept working. "Skyler. You know you can tell me." "I don't want to talk about right, but we can talk later."

Darren just shrugged and went to work. We worked until the teacher told us that she'll make an annoucement.

Everyone was saeted. "Hurry up!" I looked and saw jerk. I'm guessing he said that."I've have things to do, so hurry up!"

The teacher sighed. "Since we are having field trip tomorrow today is a short day, so after this class school is done for the day."

Everyone cheered. "Yes!" "Yeah!" "Remeber class tomorrow you meet here with your partnersat 10:00 a.m."

The bell rang so everyoe rushed out the door. Darren and I walked out of the high school. We took out our skateboards and skated home.

We were also good at skating too. "Darren I see a ramp!" "I know I see it too!" We looked at each other.

Darren skated on the ramp and did a 360. I did same the thing, but I was higher. We high-fived each other.

We stopped, went to a vending machine, and grabbed a water. Darren was waving at someone. "Come over here!"

I turn around ande see someone jupming the ramp too. When they landed I was surprised. Guess who it was.

Darren's good old friend, jerk. "Man that was sick. I saw you and your sister jump that rail. You two are good at many things."

"Yeah, but it's fine knowing some things. Wanna come to my house?" "Yeah is it the white one." "Yeah how did you know?"

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you. The house that's on the right." "The blue one?" No don't tell me. "I live there. I'm your neighbor."

Graet, just great. "Oh well that's cool. Well let's go to my house and chill. Skyler?" "Yeah Darren?" "Is it ok with you?"

I got on my skateboard. "I guess." I began to skate home. I skated on the street. Darren and jerk followed.

"Skyler! Be careful!" "Don't worry!" I began to skate close to the sidewalk. "Better?!" Darren gave me a thumbs up.

The three of us skated to my house. When we arrived I went inside to get Darren and jerk a drink. I grabbed the drinks and went outside.

"Here." I handed one drink to each. "Thanks." They said in unison. I walked inside and grabbed a drink.

"Darren. Kayle isn't here, so who will take us to the mall?" "I don't know? Let's just wait. He's coming home in an hour."
