Chapter 43

Skyler's P.O.V

I sat in the hospital bed while eating some fruit. I needed to get checked for the bruises, cuts, and most importantly my baby.

Sebastian was sleeping in the chair while Darren and Kyle went to go get me somee stuff from the house. Dad's in the cafeteria getting himself a coffee and Luke was at home with Zacky and Scotty.

The door opened and the doctor came in while a few minutes later dad came in.

"Well Skyler, your baby is ok and going to be just fine." I let out a sight of relief as I saw Sebastian wake up from his slumber.

"Lucky for you, your bruises and cuts are minor and they'll be gone in a week." The doctor informed me. "Will she be able to go to school?" Dad asked.

"No. She'll miss school for a week." I tried to hide a smile. Yes! No school for a week! That means I don't have to deal with any of the bitchy teachers or students, especially Val.

"She'll need a lot of rest and she won'y be able to move. Meaning no going to parties, no hanging out with friends, and more." Son of a bitch. Well fuck me. That sucks.

I could see dad smiling at me and trying to hide his laughter while I frowned. Sebastian tried to not laugh as he heard that I couldn't do any of that fun stuff.

"Ok doctor thanks for telling us." Dad said as the doctor nodded. "You'll be able to go home tomorrow. I will send you home with medication for the pain you'll be getting." The doctor said.

I nodded in response and then the doctor left. "Hahaha!" Dad laughed at me as I frowned. No school, no going out.

"You can't go out with your friends." My dad said laughing. "What a great dad you are." I mumbled. Sebastian kissed my head and smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll be with you." He smiled at me and kissed my forehead. "Oh Skyler. There will be a surprise for you tomorrow when you get home." Dad said.

"I'll be back in an hour. I haven't gotten any calls from Luke, so maybe the house isn't burnt down, yet." Dad gave me a hug and left.

"You can't go out." Sebastian smirked at me. "That means that I won't be able to be with you." Sebastian's smirk faded away as I began to smirk.

"Gotcha."

Next Day

I can't stand it! I hate being unable to do nothing all day!

"Sweetheart?" I heard Dad enter the room. "Yeah?" Darren's snoring could be heard in our room. He snores like an animal!

"I'm leaving for work soon. Your brothers are going to school and you might be alone for a few hours, but if you need anything call me amor one of your brothers." Dad explained as he sat on my bed.

Honestly I feel fine now. My body does feel sore because of the bruises, but one by one they are starting to disappear and the cuts are getting smaller.

"Ok dad." I said as dad smiled. "While your awake, wake yo your brother." Dad said. He left our room and Darren's snores were starting to annoy me.

"Darren." I said in a stern voice. "Darren." I said a bit louder. "Darren!" I yelled out my brother's name. He sat up and glared at me.
