Chapter 41

Kyle's P.O.V

"WHAT?!" Luke and I screamed in unison. We ran out the door and started to look for Skyler around the neighborhood. I knocked on a neighbor's door.

"Hello! Have you seen my little baby sister?!" I quickly screamed. "Um, no." Our neighbor replied. "Fuckin useless!" I knocked on every door and asked the same question, but got the same reply.

No.

"God! Fuck you Jacob!" I screamed. I ran back home and noticed Darren and dad on the phone while Scotty and Zacky were crying.

"Guys come here." I said. The twins ran to me and I carried them. "Where's Skyler?" Scotty asked. "Is she ok?" Zacky asked.

I looked away as I bit my lip. "Zacky. Scotty. Go to bed." Dad said. I let out a sigh of relief as I placed them down in the floor. Luke came back and started to take Zacky and Scotty upstairs.

"Dad." Darren said. "I know. I already informed the police and they're on their way. We can not let your mother find about this." Dad quickly explained. Dad left and it was just Darren, Luke, and I.

"I fuckin hate that prick." I heard Luke say. "Same here." When I see that asshole I'm gonna kill him!

"Darren has Brian called you?" Luke asked. "No, but I'll call him right now." Darren left and it was just me and Luke. "How was it?" Luke asked. I looked at him in confusion.

"What?" I said dumbfounded. "How was it growing up?" Luke asked. "We did have some problems here and there, but we made it through. We never stopped looking for you Luke." I looked at Luke. "When mom took you and left, I was mad at her. Then when she came back without you, she explained to us that she gave you up for adoption. That's when things got worse. Mom just barley had Scotty and Zacky and she just threw them down the stairs. Luckily Skyler, Darren, and I were able to catch them. She admitted that she was sleeping with another guy and taking all the money, she even made Skyler and Darren work at the age of 14 and she just use all the money, but we never stopped looking for you." I explained to Luke.

"It was rough for me too. When mom put me in the orphanage, I cried that whole night. I was abused and yelled at. It was just like what mom would do to us. I was later moved from orphanage to orphanage. I was everywhere. They wouldn't let us go to school, so I had to learn on my own how to read and write and all that stuff. Later when I turned 18, I decided to leave the orphanage and look for my family. I worked day and night looking for you guys." Luke explained to me.

It was tough back then, all the fights, beatings, and yelling. But we made it through.

"And now here we are, a family once more." I said. Luke smiled at me and we high-five each other. "You know what I noticed?" I asked Luke. "What?" "Since we're twins and when I always look at you, I feel like I'm staring in a mirror." I said. "Me too! I'm like, hey is this a mirror or my brother, but I'm like wait we're brothers." We laughed.

"Uh-huh, ok. Bring everyone and come here quickly." Darren came in and hung up the phone. "Who were you talking to?" Luke asked. "It was Brian, he's bringing everyone and coming here. He should be here in 10 minutes." Darren explained.

The doorbell rung. "Well that was fast." Dad came back in the kitchen. "Who's a the door?" dad asked us. "Brian and the gang." Darren said. Dad rolled his eyes. "I'll open it." Dad left the kitchen. "Let's go see what Brian has found." I said.

The three of us walked to the living room. Dad opened the door, but quickly closed it. "Dad who is it?" Luke asked. "No one son." Dad replied.

The person started to bang on the door and scream that sounded like a female. "Let me in!" The person or should I say female yelled.

"Boys go to your rooms." Dad said. "C'mon dad, if it's a crazy ex then we'll just tell her to leave." I said. "Just to your rooms." He said. We ignored him and opened the door.

"Finally. I thought I was going to break this door down." The female said. But it wasn't just any female. Darren, Luke, dad, and I stood there shocked.

"Kate, leave at once."

Darren's P.O.V

MOM!

WHAT!

THE!

ACTUAL!

FUCK!

"Kate leave at once." Dad said.

"No, I have the right to see my children." Mom or should I says Kate came in. Oh hell to the motherfuckin no!

"Um no." Luke, Kyle, I stopped her. Kate is like 5'1 and we're 5'9 or taller, so we were practically towering over her. "Excuse me, kids move." She said.

"No Kate." Luke said with hatred. I was still shocked, but that all changed when I felt my blood boil.

The one woman that made our family suffer. This one person that made us go through hell. This one person that was a disgraceful, disloyal, and especially unloving was standing right before my eyes.

"Kate leave." Dad spoke up. I felt my blood boil. My teeth were clenched and my hands were fists. "No, I have the right to see my children." She defended herself.

Woah. Woah. Woah.

Since when did she care about us?

"No Kate, we have bigger problems ok our hands." Dad said. "I know, I heard. Skyler." She said with a fake sad face. "We have it under control, now leave." Kyle said.

"Excuse me young man, I am your mother. Don't talk to me like that." Kate scolded Kyle. "No you're not. You're our birth giver, you'll never be our mother." Luke added.

We all glared at Kate as she started to sweat-drop and looked a bit frightened. "Daddy? Can we have water?" We all turned around and saw Scotty and Zacky in their animal pajamas while there rubbed their eyes.

"My babies." Kate pushed us away and ran to Zacky an Scotty. "Dad, who is this?" Zacky asked. "She looks mean." Scotty added as Zacky nodded.

"Boys I'm your mom." Kate said while hugging them. "You get away from them!" I ran to the twins and picked them up. "Guys don't listen to her, she a mean person." Like said.

"We don't like mean people." The twins said in unison. "Us neither." Dad said. Dad pulled Kate to the door. "Never come back." He said.

With that, Dad rubbed his temples while Kyle and Luke locked all the doors and windows.

First Skyler missing, now mom or should I say Kate, is back.

Can this get any worse?
