Chapter 28

Skyler's P.O.V

Well I'm here with Darren at the mall. Tomorrow is Monday which means that we can go back to school aka the hell hole.

"So we need new clothes for the twins." I said while looking at a store full of children's clothes and toys.

"Dad gave us a list, but they all have toys written on it." said Darren. "Zacky and Scotty probably convinced dad to write "toys" on there." I said.

"Let's just go shopping." We walked into Sears. "What about this?" I held up two shirts that said "I'm cute, what about you?"

"No." said Darren. "Why? It's cute." I said while smiling. "I like this one. Darren held two shirts that said "I'm with stupid" and there are arrows pointing to the left.

"No." "You know what I'm going to get all the cool shirts send them to dad and he'll choose." "I'm going to let dad choose too."

Darren and I went out separate ways. I grabbing cute shirts with Nickelodeon characters on them, black jeans, and other clothing.

I accidentally bumped into someone. I stood up and faced the person. "I'm so sorry I said." "It's no problem."

I look at the person and realize that it was Jacob. What I also realized that he had some bruises, cuts, and he looked like shit.

"Are you ok? Why is your face all jacked up?" I asked. "Oh I um got into this fight with some guy." he said while sounding nervous.

"Well at least your ok." I said. "So what did you come to buy?" he asked me. "Some clothes for my younger brothers, but I came here with my idiotic twin brother." he chuckled.

"I came to buy some new shoes. These old ones lasted me for a few years, but they're starting to worn out." he shows me a hole in the bottom of the shoe.

"Yeah these are my favorite." For some reason those shoes that he wore reminded me from my ex-boyfriend.

"Well I gotta go. See ya." Jacob left. "He seems familiar." I said. I tried to remember any thoughts about him, but nothing came up.

I pushed that thought away and went straight to buying the clothes for the twins.

"What is this?" Dad asked while holding a shirt that was blue and "Too cute for ya!" written on it.

So we ended up not sending dad the pictures, but hey we didn't wasted a lot of our battery. We just took what we like the best.

"It's adorable!" Dad held one of Darren's shirts. It was black and it had a picture of skateboard.

"Really?" asked dad. "I was in the moment." said Darren. I rolled my eyes.

"Right. Well I already made dinner so let's eat." Dad walked into the kitchen.

"My clothes were better." I said. "Nu-uh! Mine were the coolest."

"Well mine are cute!" "Mine are funnier!" "Mine are adorable!" "Mine are the best!" "Mine is better!" we said the last part in unison.

"If you two don't calm down, you will not get chocolate cake!" dad yelled from the kitchen.

Darren and I walked to the table and dat down. Kyle and Luke were talking about football, Scotty and Zacky were playing with their new toys, and Darren and I glared at each other.

This is going to be a long night.
