The girls headed back to the reception. That's when they see...her.

-What are you doing here?, frowned Emily, clenching her jaw.

-Am I not allowed to see my brother?, snapped the aunt.

-Yes. Yes, you are., intervened Olivia quickly.

-Still gay?, asked the aunt looking at Olivia.

-Still homophobic?, replied Emily from behind Olivia.

-Em, go get the car. I'll be out in a minute., said the older girl.

Emily wanted to protest, which Olivia of course knew, so the brunette turned around, mouthing the word "please", making her girlfriend sigh and nod, leaving the building. Olivia turned back to her aunt.

-Listen, aunt Becky, you can hate this all you want. You can yell all you want, but this is who I am. I am bisexual. I love men and women. Whether you like it or not. So you have to choice to believe in whatever the church says, or you can see me as a human being who loves another human being. I mean, how could you hate on love? Love is love, whether it's between a boy and a girl, or two boys, or two girls, or between nonbinary and a girl, etc etc. It's still love. So hate all you want, but I'm not going to stop loving Emily. I'm not going to stop being me. I understand that you grew up with a different mind set than my generation, but if dad who was raised by the same parents as you, accepts it, then why don't you?, said Olivia looking her in the eyes the whole time, her voice steady and feeling pretty confident.

-I don't hate on love. This is a sin, Olivia. I am looking out for you. I don't want you to go to hell., replied the aunt.

-Okay, what the hell do you know about where literally anyone goes after death? Or if there is even a place to go? You don't know. Hell was made up by people to scare others. Just like fucking Santa was made up for children. There's no white man coming to everyone's houses every year dropping presence, just like there's not hell or demons waiting to torture us., said the brunette frowning.

-But the Bible says-, tried the aunt.

-The Bible says that a man should not sleep with a boy. It means that an adult man should not have sex with a minor. They are talking about pedophiles. And honestly, who cares what the Bible says? It was written millions of years ago, by men who cheated, who raped, who killed and got away with it. If you wanna live in that world of hate and chaos, go ahead. I'll stay here, in a world where people should be allowed to love whoever they want., interrupted Olivia.

-But you shouldn't be allowed to love a girl! Not Emily! You should be with Tyler!, said the aunt getting up from the chair and getting worked up.

-Don't know shit about Tyler! Emily treats me right. She cares about me. She loves me. She wants me to be happy! She is fucking gentle with me and she was there for me when no one else was. She makes me feel safe and happy. Isn't that what you wish for me? To be happy?, replied Olivia suddenly feeling tears.

-I do, but not like that. It's her or me., said the woman.

-I don't care what you want. I want Emily. I love Emily. If you can't accept that, then that's on you. You're the one losing me. I'm the one losing a homophobic person from my life. Your loss. I don't need your negativity. I don't need your hate. I can live without you aunt Becky. But I can't live without Emily. If you 're asking me to choose between Emily and you, I don't need to think about it. I am telling you right now, it's her. It will always be her. It always has been her. So fuck off. I'll see you around., replied Olivia walking out without giving her aunt a chance to start another sentence.

She saw Emily car and walked up to it, getting in in the passenger's side.

-You're crying., whispered Emily.

-I'm okay. I had to let it out., replied Olivia looking straight forward.

Emily reached for her hand and held it.

-Let's go home, okay?, smiled the younger brunette lightly.

-Yes. Please., nodded the other girl now turning to Emily.

The younger girl kissed her cheek and started the car, driving off the hospital. The car ride was pretty silent. No music, no conversation. They got home, Hobi waiting for them by the door. It was around 4pm.

-Babe, do you wanna go on a walk with Hobi and me?, smiled Emily softly.

-Yeah. Yeah, I'd like that., nodded Olivia stopping taking her shoes off.

-Okay., replied Emily happy and grabbed his leash.

She opened the front door again, grabbing her keys. Olivia walked outside, Emily handing her the leash to lock the door. Olivia did not expect Hobi to pull so hard so she stumbled on the floor, letting go of the leash. Hobi just stood next to her and looked at her confused.

-Hey, don't judge. I don't have Emily's strength to hold you back., chuckled Olivia petting him, gaining a lick on her face from the dog.

Emily helped the other idiot up.

-Come on, my love. Let's walk a little., smiled Emily holding her girlfriend hand, looking at her.

-Okay, okay., pouted the older brunette.

-Where do you wanna go? To the park or to the forest?, wondered the younger girl.

-Wherever you go, I'll follow., replied Olivia smiling lightly.

-Listen, I'm sorry about your aunt. You deserve better., said Emily.

-She asked me to choose., explained the older girl.

-To choose?, frowned Emily not understanding.

-Yeah, you or her., elaborated the brunette.

-Oh. So, what did you...what did you say?, wondered the younger girl shyly.

-Em, whose hand am I holding right now?, replied Olivia.

-Mine, but that doesn't mean-, tried Emily.

-I chose you. It's you. It's always been you, Em. Always will be. I love you., said the older brunette.

-Oh. Okay. I love you too., smiled the other brunette looking at her girlfriend.

-You're a dork., giggled Olivia.
