-Emily Quinn and Olivia Isabel Rodrigo to the principal's office. I repeat, Emily Quinn and Olivia Isabel Rodrigo to the principal's office, thank you., spoke Miss Anastasia on the speakers.
Emily and looked at her teacher who nodded. So she got up and walked to the hallway. She walked to the office that she knew all too well. She sighed. Emily didn't know why she was being called there. Especially with Olivia. That's when she frowned and walked faster. What if something had happened to Olivia? She couldn't think of anything else so she started running to the office. She opened the door, meeting a confused secretary.
-You're quite fast, aren't you?, chuckled Miss Tania.
-Why am I here?, asked Emily quickly, not in the mood for any conversation.
-I don't know., shrugged the secretary.
She then heard the door open behind her and turned around, seeing her girlfriend. She sighed relieved and walked up to her.
-Em, what did you do?, sighed Olivia.
-What? I didn't do anything., frowned the brunette.
-Yeah, right., scoffed the older girl.
-Wow. I'm offended., replied Emily.
Another door open and a smiling woman walked out.
-Hello, you two. Come in., smiled the principal.
Emily didn't even look at her girlfriend before entering the room and sitting down. Olivia rolled her eyes and followed her. She sat down as well, looking at Miss Anastasia, waiting for an explanation.
-So, you two forgot about something., chuckled the woman.
-I'm confused..., frowned Olivia.
-Didn't I tell you to come and meet me the first day back in school in the morning?, smiled the principal.
-Oh shit. I mean, crap. Uhm, we're so sorry Miss. We totally forgot about it., apologized the older brunette.
-It's okay, Olivia. I can imagine how stressful and overwhelming this past week has been, especially for you. I just wanted to talk to both of you to make sure that you're not having any trouble catching up in school or if you need anything. I might only be your principal, but I actually care about the well-being of my students., explained the woman.
-Yeah. Sure you do., whispered Emily.
-I do., repeated the woman now looking at Emily.
-How many times have you put your head in the sand as kids here get bullied or humiliated? You always pretend to be our friend and be a good principal, but the second a student gets hurt or bullied by a good athlete or by a teacher's child, it's like suddenly your name is Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil and you're blind as a fucking bat., said Emily, keeping her voice steady and calm.
-That is not true. I take action whenever a student here feels endangered., frowned the woman.
-No you don't. My girlfriend has a fucking stalking that has been following her, threatening to hurt her or worse. The same stalker who followed many other girls around who, I know for a fact have come here and complained about him. But since he's the star of this school, the captain of a fucking sport's club, you don't do anything about it. Soon, he'll get a scholarship instead of someone who really deserves and then what? He gets to be lucky and happy all the time whilst harassing girls who are not able to protect themselves? How many speeches have you done about how you want everyone at school to feel safe and to feel comfortable enough to be themselves. I mean, look at the fucking pervert who posted videos and pics of gay people online with the goal of exposing them. You gave him, what? Two weeks of detentions? As if that'd change anything. He outed many people in this school, including myself. He took pictures and or videos of students, which is illegal by the way. He made some of those students' lives worse than before and he still gets to walk around and act like he's all that. And why is that? Hm? You think that we're not aware that he is Mister Jacobs' nephew? You think that I didn't see him come into your office? I could bet that he threatened you. And let me guess, suddenly two weeks of detention turned into two days? Honestly, if I had the choice, I wouldn't be here. I would not come to this fucking school because, because of people like you and him and stalker, students are depressed, suicidal, anxious, angry and a lot more. So don't act like you care. If you'd care, you'd do something. If you'd care, we'd be happy to come to school. Now, I'm going back to class because this is a waste of time., said Emily, not stuttering or caring about the woman's look.
She got up, grabbed her backpack and walked out. Miss Tania was looking at her with her smile, which made her understand that she heard it, which was weird because the door was closed.
-Olivia, please get your girlfriend in check., said the principal but it came out of the speakers as well.
-My girlfriend is right. You should think about what she said., said Olivia, getting up and grabbing her backpack as well, leaving the room and looking at a confused Emily.
Emily was just standing there, frowning.
-Fucking teenagers. Someday, they're gonna get what they deserve., said the principal through the speakers.
Miss Tania smirked and got up, walking to the principal's office, acting innocent.
-Ma'am, I don't think that you turned the microphone off. Everything that was just said could be heard through the speakers., said Miss Tania.
-What?, yelled the principal, looking at the microphone, which's red light was on.
Miss Tania walked out and had to hold her laughter in.
-Shit., was all that the school last heard from Miss Anastasia.
Emily looked at Olivia who was grinning and looking at the speakers.
-Babe, how about we just leave?, suggested the brunette.
-What? You want to skip school?, frowned Olivia.
-Well, what is she gonna do? Give us detention? Pretty sure we just gained a huge ass suspension. There's no way that it could get worse., chuckled the younger girl.
-I guess you are right., smiled Olivia, walking up to her girlfriend and grabbing her hand gently.
