It had only been three months since that day I met the boys. But in those three months, I learned so much about myself and it was all thanks to them. They helped me grow. They helped me heal. I couldn't believe that I was going to have to say goodbye to them.
I went down to the studio to tell the boys about my plan. They didn't have a lot of time left, so I figured it was now or never. We had to play the Orpheum.
I walked in to find Reggie picking his bass with a blank expression, Luke staring at the ceiling, and Alex trying to balance a drumstick on his nose.
I sighed. "Snap out of it!", I exclaimed. Alex jumped and fell off the couch.
Reggie looked over at the drumstick that was now on the other side of the room. "Jeez I think you broke Alex."
"Do you guys want to cross over or what", I said, as Luke helped Alex back on the couch.
I clapped my hands. "Get it together!"
"They're never gonna let us play the Orpheum", Luke said solemnly.
"We're nobody", Alex said.
"We're less than nobody", Reggie added. "We have no bodies." Luke snapped and pointed to Reggie in agreement.
"Someone once told me that you don't ask for permission. You book gigs by doing."
"That was me", Reggie said cockily.
"No it wasn't"
"No it wasn't."
"Yes it was..."
"This isn't over.", I said. "We were brought together for a reason. To help each other."
"Alright, but like Luke said. People don't just play the Orpheum because they want to."
I crossed my arms. "People don't, but ghosts do."

The next day I anxiously awaited for the boys to come back. Alex told me that his ghost friend Willie was taking care of everything, but I didn't really trust him. He was the one who brought them into this mess.
It was kind of crazy knowing that we might get to play at the Orpheum, especially since it was just last week that I told my friends I wasn't ready to play at that level. But I knew that as long as I was with the boys, I would be fine.
That didn't stop me from pacing around the room. Suddenly the boys poofed in. Immediately I start bombarding them with questions.
"Oh my gosh what took you guys so long! Did Willie do it? Did you talk to the promoter? Did they watch the video? Did they like us? Are we playing tonight? Can someone answer me? Why is no one saying anything?"
"Woah, that's a lot of questions.", Reggie said. "Luke, do you wanna take this one?"
"Take a seat", he said. I sat down on the couch and the boys kneeled around the table. "It's fine. Everything's fine."
"Yeah you should be getting a call right...now!", Alex said as he and the boys pointed to my phone. Nothing happened.
"O-okay. Right....now!", they all pointed to it again and this time it started to ring. We all looked at each excitedly and I forgot that I actually had to pick it up.
They all motioned for me to answer it. I pressed a button and put it on speaker phone. "Oh! Um...hello!", I said cheerfully.
"Hi this is Tasha from the Orpheum in Hollywood.", the woman on the other line said. We all started to jump around.
