Chapter 6

  

Taylor's POV

I was working out on my room when someone knocked on my door. "Come in" I said and saw my sister come inside. She didn't say anything. She just sat on my bed and looked at me.

I continued my push ups like she wasn't even there. She just needs some time to accept what is happening. I just have to wait for her to talk first.

After I was done I sat next to her on my bed. "So you are going to leave me. Just like that?" She asked sounding hurt.

"I am not leaving you Lia. You have mama an ma and Aj and Helena... You are going to be fine." I told her and kissed her forehead.

"And what about you? You are just going to give up?" She asked

"I am not giving up. I need to do this. I want to prove to myself that I can be like mom." I told her.

"Even mom didn't make it out there. Taylor please don't go." She said and hugged me.

"Mom went on a secret special government thingy. I am just going to the army." I said hugging her back. I could feel her tears running down my  shoulder and wetting my shirt. "Please, don't cry little sis. I will be fine. And when I come back I will take you and Aj wherever you want. I promise." I told her kissing her forehead to comfort her.

"Please come back. I can't loose you too!" she said with her face still against my shoulder.

"I will. But you have to do something too." She nodded her head. "I need you to take care of our brother. I want you to be nice to Silvia. We might not be related by blood but she is our family. So don't make her life hard please. And lastly mama. She is going to be worried for me, don't add too much on her plate." I told her and she agreed. "Now, how about we watch a movie like we used to do?" I told her and she got excited.

I love my sister so much. But don't tell her that I said that.

We had a movie marathon. We made popcorn and ate ice cream. After the first movie Aj made his way between us and snuggled to watch with us.

Two movies later mama came in and sat with us. She wanted to cook but we decided to order pizza so she could stay with us too.

When Silvia came back from work she found us all curled up on my bed so she decided to also joining the family activity. Thank God I have a big bed so we could all fit in. We were the one on top of the other but we made it work.

It was a great day and we all had fun. It was needed some good family time. I am so glad to have them all. I would never change that. Although I would really like if Emma was here with us. I would give everything for that.

When it was around midnight, ma picked up a sleeping Aj and put him to bed while mama and Lia left as well to go to sleep.

I was about to go too when there was another knock on my door. After I said 'come in' I was a little surprised to see Silvia come in.

"Is everything ok? Do you need help with Aj?" I asked her standing up.

She didn't say anything. She came in my room and hugged me. Really tight. "Everything is fine. I am just going to miss you." She said and I hugged her back.

"I know I am not your mother but, I do see you as my child Taylor. You don't need to do this Taylor you know that right? You have nothing to prove to us or Alex." She told me pulling back.

"I know that. I am doing it for me. It feels like the right choice. And I know I can because, they have you. And I know I can count on you. I know whatever happens you will be there for all of them and I am so thankful for that. And that is what makes you family. Not blood." I told her and she smiled at me.

"You are so much like her... I bet if she was here she would be so proud of you and the person you 've become." She said placing her hand on my cheek. She sure feels like a mother to me.

"I hope so. And I am sure she would be proud of you too and the son you gave her." I told her.

"I better go now. Your mama will  be looking for me. I just want you to be careful and don't do crazy  stuff. You don't go there and play hero. You go there and be smart." She told me.

I nodded my head. "I know. And you... Take care of them like you always do." I told her and hugged her again.

We did our good night  and she left my room. This was an interesting day.

The next two days I was mostly working out. I overwork myself but it is worth it. It doesn't just makes me stronger, it gives me confidence that I can do things.

I spent a day with Aj. I took him to the park. We played, we made friends, we laughed, we ate junk food, then we came back and watched Disney movies. He slept on my bed and Whem mama came in my room to take him I asked her to let him sleep here. She agreed and i slept with my little brother that night.

It sure was a fun day. I hope I get to do this  again with him.

The next day mama came in my room right after I was done with my morning exercise. "You can't keep working out like that. Don't you think it is a little bit too much?" She asked me and I just smiled at her.

"Good morning to you too mama? How did you sleep? Anything I can help you with?" I asked her with a smile on my face.

She sighed. "I am sorry baby. I am just really worried about you. I have already lost so much from your life, I don't want to loose more time. I want to keep you here with me for ever and never let you go." She told me hugging me. "But... I know I can't do that. You need to leave your life and do what you want. So you go and do what you want and I will be here waiting. I can't promise you that I won't be worried, but I will be by your side always." She said.

We pulled back from each other and I looked at her. She was ready to cry. "Thank you for understanding and supporting me." I told her and she nodded her head.

"Just promise me you will call me as soon as you can and talk to me as much as you can. I love you, my baby."

And with that we spend the day together, gathering my staff and preparing for the next day.
