Alex's POV

I was sitting on the kitchen table talking with my daughters. I have really missed both of them.

I also missed a lot, well everything really, that happened the last two years in their lives. So now I am trying to catch up.

Taylor didn't say much, mostly because she already told me some and the other stuff had to do with Emma and it is pretty clear that she is not ready to talk about it. And I respect that, this is why I am not pressuring her.

Lia on the other hand was trying really hard to make me understand how amazing Helena is.  To be honest she sounds pretty great and seems to treat her right but that doesn't mean I am going to be easy on her. I will still kill her if she hurts my princesses without a second thought.

As we were talking I noticed Lia looked at her watch a couple of times. She seemed to be getting nervous.

"What is it princess?" I asked her and she looked a little surprised that I noticed something was wrong.

"Ohh, it is nothing really." She said trying to avoid it. She made eye contact with Taylor and I could see her getting a little on edge too.

"You know, no matter how many years will pass, you to will always be terrible liars. You know you can't lie to me! So, I will ask again. What is wrong princess?" I said and she sighed deeply.

"Nothing is wrong. I was just thinking if I should warn you about something." She said looking between me and Taylor like she was asking for help from her sister.

"Warn me about what girls?" I asked while trying to think what they could be possibly thinking about.

"It's not something to be worried about." Taylor said and Lia nodded her head.

"Yeah, it is just..." Lia started but she got interrupted by the front door being opened.

"Lia, I am home!" She said.

"...that" Lia finished.

I know this voice. I could never forget this voice and all the good memories that brings in my mind. It was no other's but Silvia's!

The woman that one was my girlfriend and now is in a relationship with my wife.

Complicated, I know.

The situation is so crazy.

I turned my attention to Taylor. "You should go first. So it won't be that heavy on her." I said patting her shoulder and she nodded her head exciting the kitchen ro go greet Silvia.

Then I turned to Lia. "Are you going to be ok? I know this must be weird." She asked me.

I nodded my head before I said " Yes, of course I will be fine. The only thing that matters is that they are both happy."

After that she came and hugged me as we listened to the conversation that was taking place in the living room.

Silvia's POV

"Lia, I am home!" I said as I entered the house. I left my keys on the table next to the door and walked in taking my hills off.

I had some meetings today, no surgery so I was supposed to dress more 'formal'.

Lia didn't answer me and that was weird. She should be home by now.

I was about to call her again when I heard a voice.

"Hey!" Taylor said exiting the kitchen.

"Oh my God, you are back!" I moved quickly towards her to hug her. "I am so glad you are ok. We were so worried. Why are you back? Is everything ok? Are you injured? Did they kick you out? Does mama know you are back?" I asked her really fast checking for any injuries. When I didn't find any I hugged her again.

She chuckled and we pulled away from each other so we could look at each other. "Slow down ma. The important thing is that I am fine. I am not injured, I don't even know why am i here but the important thing is that I am and that i am fine. And no mama doesn't know. Lia does thought she is in the kitchen." She answered me with a smile on her face.

"I missed you." I told her and pulled her for one last hug.

I know I am not her mother but the last couple of years I have come to love her and care for her like she was my own daughter.

To be honest I was terrified about her leaving for a mission so early. It doesn't make any sense why they did that. And after some days without any communication with her was enough to drive me crazy. The only thing that kept me sane was the rest of my family. Everyone was already freaking out I couldn't loose it too.

"Anyways, let's go in the kitchen with you sister. You probably don't know about it but today mama and I are going out, so you and Lia are babysitting and cooking." I said and started to walk towards the kitchen but she grabbed my hand to stop me. "What is it sweetie?" I asked her very confused.

"There is something you should know before you go inside this room." She said pointing to the kitchen.

Well, this is weird. "What?" I said looking at her running every possible scenario I could think of. "Did you burn something again? Is that why Lia is not here?" I said turning around to see what happened but she stopped me again.

"No, no, no. Nothing like that. Everything is ok I promise." She said making me even more nervous. Then why can't I go in the kitchen if my own house?

"So what are you two hiding?" I said using my best mommy voice. Still not as good as Summer's but I am learning from the best.

"That would be me." A different voice said from behind me and I froze in place. "Girls, if you could give us a moment..." she said and the girls left the room.

"No. No, it is just my imagination. It's ok. It's probably just a dream." I said to myself trying to calm me down.

I could hear her footsteps coming closer and I freaked out even more.

Tears were starting to form in my eyes and I still couldn't turn around.

"You are not real. You are dead." I told her and a hand was placed on my shoulder.

I was shaking and I could not keep my tears from running anymore.

I completely broke down.

"You can't be real." I told her and in response she hugged me from behind.

"I am. It is real Silvia. I am here." She said making me turn around and look at her face.

Her face!

Her face wasn't the same anymore. Her skin was a little tanner, her face looked skinnier, her eyes weren't full of life and passion as they were ones and she had a scar from her eyebrow down to her cheek. It looked old and deep. This is probably not going to disappear.

Not going to lie, she is still very very attractive. I don't know if it is the scar or not but she gives more saxy and mysterious vibes now.

"Are you really here?" I asked her with tears still running down my cheeks while placing both my hands on her cheeks.

She nodded her head and leaned closer so our foreheads were against each other's.

"I am here angel." She said and I the only thing I could do was cry and hug her. I hugged her really tight, scared that if I let her go she would disappear and this would be just a dream...
