Taylor's POV

I woke up with a terrible headache. I could barely open my eyes because there was too much light.

After a while that I was able to see where I was, I looked around and so a dark room like a basement. There was only one window on the top of the wall, to high to reach, and from there there was light coming directly where I was.

I tried to move only to find my arms tied behind my back. There was also ropes around my ankles.

I looked around the room again to search for my team. The first  one I saw was James, laying a few meters away from me on the floor. From what I saw he was breathing but he was unconscious right now. At least he is alive... for now.

I searched for the other people of my team. I saw the dude that was from the other unit slowly waking up and the woman that was with us was looking at me, her name is Ally I think.

"Hey is he ok?" She asked pointing at James. I turned to look at him again, looking for injuries.

"It seems like he has a wound in his left thigh. He is loosing a lot of blood, but he is still alive." I told her and she nodded her head.

"How are you? Your head looks pretty bad." She said nodding toward my head.

"I am just a little dizzy. I will be fine." I paused for a second. "How are we getting out of here?" I asked them.

"We don't." The man which if I recall correctly is called David said. "Most of the times people die here." He continued.

"Yeah but we are soldiers. We are not just people. There must be a way out." I said looking around.

"Even special forces die here. Well technically they disappear but everyone knows they are dead. We don't have a chance." Dave answered me.

Special forces? Maybe mom died here. I looked around the room imagining her in this room.

She would be probably thinking about   her family, mama, Silvia, Lia... me.

She didn't even got the chance to meet AJ.

And now they have to deal with my death too. Lia will be devastated. And my mama... she will probably die when she finds out. And I mean literally, I don't think her heart can take this.

"No  I am not dying here. I have people that need me back home and i intend going back if you don't mind." I said and started moving, trying to untie myself.

"You know this is not going to help right?" Ally said.

"I can't just give up! We have to do something." I told her but before we could say anything more the door opened and entered seven people. All armed, all wearing the same uniforms. They were also all wearing masks except one. I am guessing he was their leader.

He nodded his head and four of his people made thair way towards each one of us and pushed us all together in the middle of the room on our knees. All except James who was still unconscious.

The person that went to him injected him with something first which woke him up. He started screaming in pain as the person that was next to him pushed him next to us.

"So, which one of you is the leader?" Asked the person that wasn't wearing a mask as he took out a gun and loaded it with bullets. He had a weird accent.

None of us talked. I was looking around the room at the people and they were all ready  to shoot us at any moment.

When he saw that we weren't going to  talk he nodded his head. "Very  good. If you don't have the balls to talk we can do it my way." He said and put his gun against Ally's forehead. He was about to pull the trigger

"No wait!" I said and everyone was looking at me now. "The leader is dead. He got shot in the head by one of your guys." I told him.

"I told them I want everyone alive." After that he said something in another language and one of his people left the room.

Now it was five and he. We were still outnumbered, unarmed and tied so we still didn't have a chance.

"You seem like you have balls. Now you are the one in charge of them. If they do something you die first." He told me.

I didn't know what to do. I paid close attention to every one of them. I could she the three people behind him looking like something was off. I didn't know what thought. They were doing some weird gestures to each other.

"So we have some questions that you have to answer or you are going to be the first one to die."  He walked around me and I turned to see Ally. She was shaking her head no.

"So let's start easy. Where is your camp and how many soldiers are there?" He said as he stopped in front of me, his gun still in his hand ready to shoot me. I looked at David and he gave me a look that told me to 'shut up'.

I didn't know what to do. If I stayed quiet he would kill me for sure. If I told him them he would kill all the other soldiers and destroy or base.

I swallowed, trying to clear my throat in case I wanted to talk but i couldn't say anything.

"Tik tok kid. You better start talking." He talked again.

"I- I don't know how many soldiers are there." I told him which was true. "And I am sorry but I can tell you were the base is." I told him looking him dead in the eyes. I Swallowed a lump that was starting to form in my throat.

"I don't like that answer, so I will give you one more chance." He said pointing his gun at me.

I closed my eyes. My thoughts were about my family and how I am going to leave them alone. And about Emma. At least I will be with her again. "I can't help you." I told him as bravely as I could, with my chest bumped and my voice steady.

"As you wish" was the last thing I heard before closed my eyes and heard the gunshot.

He pulled the trigger!

If I got shot why am I not in pain? Am I dead already?

I opened my eyes and saw the man dead on the floor. I looked behind him and it seems like one of his people shot him.

Not even seconds later two others of his people shot the last two men  that had guns.

"What the hell?" David said as the ones that were still alive came to us and starring to cut the ropes.

The one who saved me came closer and kneeled in front of me. They took out their mask/helmet that was covering their whole face.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She said mad at me.

I was too shocked to care.

"Mom?"
