Tw: violence, slight blood, mentions of cuts (not self harm) and slight panic/anxiety attack. (I'm so sorry I forgot to add in the tws but they're here now)
Sapnap slowly approaches his home. The lights are still on great. He slowly drags his feet towards the door. He's mindful this time incase something is thrown at him again. He slowly pushes down the handle and opens the door.
He peeks in first inspecting the room before walking in. He quietly shuts the door behind him. The slow creak of the door echoing throughout the quiet house. He turns around and is met with his father staring him down.
Sapnap gulps and a breath gets caught in his throat. Fear takes over as Sapnap feels as though his soul is being crushed. He is unable to move from his spot in front of the heavy door. "Out this late huh?" his father takes a step back to inspect Sapnap.
Sapnap had dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep. His eyes were red and puffy from crying at Karl's house. His tear stained cheeks stood out from his pale skin. He looked wrecked and definitely didn't look happy or healthy either.
Sapnap couldn't answer, only nod his head. The weight of fear still dragging him down to earth. He felt as though he could be pulled to the earth's core, he wished that would happen. His father scoffed at his appearance and laughed loudly. Sapnap flinched.
His mind was racing. Fear is a scary thing, it can completely shut down your body if you let it. It disrupts your thoughts, your actions and even your health. It's like a big barrier and at the moment Sapnap is being crushed by this invisible forceful barrier.
Sapnap slowly forced his mind to co-operate with him. He lifted his foot and took a step to the side. His progress was greatly pushed back, physically and metaphorically. His father threw him against the door. Sapnap hit his hip off the door handle. A sharp pain was sent wracking through his body.
"Where do you think you're going? I never said you could leave" his fathers harsh tone only added to the pain he was feeling. He held his side where the pain had been inflicted you deserve this. Sapnap looked up with teary eyes.
"S-Sorry" he stuttered out. His emotions were overwhelming. He felt so many at the one time. Fear, saddness, confusion, longing, anger, did I mention fear? His father's cold heartless eyes looked right through him.
Sapnap didn't know what to do. Should he stay and let his father beat him? Should he stand up for himself? Well the answer is the first one. Sapnap let his father beat him. He was pushed into the walls, corners of tables, couches, almost everything. He was punched and kicked too.
The tears were flowing from his eyes. He was feeling too much pain. Just above his eyebrow he had a cut, the blood was seeping from the wound and slowly making it's way down Sapnap's cheek.
He couldn't catch his breath. Sapnap was sitting on the floor clutching his sides. His father stood above him, not even saying a word. Just watching his son breakdown from pain and built up emotions. His mother was nowhere in sight, no wonder his father was having a field day.
It had been about 35 minutes since Sapnap stepped into the hell-like-house. 34 minutes since his father had started beating him. Sapnap cried his heart out on the sitting room floor, begging any god or someone to take all the pain away.
Sapnap had just cleaned the cut above his eyebrow and stuck a plaster on it. His tears had dried up only leaving light pink stains from where they once fell. Sapnap stood in front of the mirror looking at the state he was in. The bruises clearly showing
He poked his cheek and watched as the skin moved. He made a disgusted look as his stare drifted to his eyebrow. Just then he heard his phone ring for the 5th time. He decided to stop ignoring whoever had been calling him.
