Tws: Mentions of blood
Sapnap stumbled back from the impact. He held his nose and hissed in pain. He could feel the blood trickling down. He wiped the blood smearing it across his cheek and hand. He looked up to see his father stomping angrily down the driveway. He held a few pieces of clothing in his hand as he climbed into his car.
He obviously hadn't seen Sapnap behind the door as there was no insult thrown at him. How he didn't feel the door hitting someone Sapnap will never know. He watched his father start his car and speed off down the road, skidding around the corner.
He stood outside the door for a few minutes trying to process what happened. He peeked around the door looking inside. He couldn't see his mother in the kitchen. He stood up straight and prepared himself for whatever might be thrown his way, whether it be an insult or a glass.
He raked his hand threw his messy hair. It was getting more untidy as the weeks went by. He really needed a hair cut. He took his first fearful step into the household. Nothing was said yet, it was pure silence. He walked further into the house, inspecting the broken glass and knocked over chairs.
There was definitely a big fight. He couldn't help but wonder why his mother texted him so urgently. He walked up the stairs heading for his room, he had classes to catch up on and some extra homework. But as he was opening the door to his room he heard crying.
He froze and followed the sound. He slowly approached the sound carefully watching his foot placement. The last thing he wanted was to fall over his own feet while trying to quietly walked through his house. He reached his parents shared room. The crying seemed to be coming from there.
He knocked on the door lightly. "Mom?" there was no response. He knocked again. "Mom are you okay?" there was still no response. He opened the door, a loud creak echoing throughout the semi-silent house. He saw his mother sitting at the end of her bed, holding her face in her hands as sobs racked her body.
She looked up to him, makeup was running own her face. He was speechless, this wasn't the sight he was expecting. Even though he could hear crying. Her face turned into one of guilt and sympathy but quickly changed into an unreadable expression. "This.. is all your fault!" she shouted at him. She didn't look angry, she still had a look of deep guilt in her eyes.
Sapnap flinched at the sudden shouting and retreated from the room. He closed the door behind him and raced to his room. Tears already falling down his delicate cheeks. He closed the door and slid down the door. He was in the safety of his room. Even throughout all these horrid and hateful years his room was wear he could escape it all. His bathroom was a different story.
He looked around the room sadly, memories of his childhood floating back to him in bright clouds of happiness. When everything was good. What happened to everything? When did his life turn into a complete pile of shit. He felt his phone buzzing in his pocket. It was Karl ringing him. He answered..
"Sap! Oh my- what happened to your face why is there blood?" Karl covered his mouth in shock. This seemed to be a normal thing for Karl when he laughed or was shocked about something. Sapnap laughed at himself, he was in an awful state. "Long story, but I guess you have time right darling?" Sapnap smiled, if he didn't have tears running down his beaten face and look like a mess you would say he looks almost....happy.
Karl nodded his head silently waiting for Sapnap to start. "Well my dad his me with the door and just left. The house is a mess, broken glass and shit everywhere. My mom is crying, when I asked if she was okay she just shouted at me and blamed me" Sapnap smiled sadly at Karl. He really needed one of those big warm hugs from the other that felt like they lasted centuries.
"Sap I'm so sorry. Lets start with cleaning the blood hm?" Karl smiled at the hurt boy, trying to encourage him. "Do you have a bathroom in your room?" Sapnap nodded before stopping and eyes widening. "I don't think I wanna go in there" more tears fell from his puffy eyes and soaked into his clothes.
"That's okay Sappy. Is there another bathroom?" Sapnap nodded and walked towards the main bathroom of the house. He stood over the sink and looked in the mirror. His face scrunched up in disgust. Karl saw this and his face softened "Sap you're so handsome" Sapnap stopped and looked down to the phoen in his hand, where he saw Karl smiling up at him. Sapnap couldn't help but smile too.

The two spent around 3 hours on call, Karl was helping Sapnap clean up while also having a conversation. Karl had to go because he was called down for dinner, this made Sapnap go to find some dinner too. The house sounded empty, there was no sign of his mother. For the first time in a while he could sit at the kitchen table in peace and eat a proper meal.
Sapnap could hear the rain falling outside, the soft pitter patter on the windows caught his attention. He walked to his front door and watched the rain fall. He enjoyed how peaceful it was while raining. He loved the aftermath of it too, the puddles on the footpath, the smell of damp wet grass, the shine the road got after a nights rainfall.
He hat outside in the rain allowing himself to become drenched. He let the rain soak into his hair, making it slick against his forehead. He felt as though the rain was washing his worries away. His head was empty and we was just enjoying the quiet rainfall.
One thought that managed to wiggle its way into his brain (that sounds weird help) was the thoughts of Karl and his sexuality. He was attracted to Karl in some way, but he couldn't be gay right? He's straight, he wouldn't kiss Karl. But his lips looked so kissable. He wouldn't cuddle with Karl. But his waist was so slim it was perfect to wrap his arms around. Karl was perfect to him.
Maybe I am gay?
Maybe I'm bi?
Maybe maybe maybe..
Sapnap spent so long thinking about it he never noticed the door opening. But once he did he turned around and was met with his mother.
