TWS: Mentions of self harm, mentions of violence and verbal abuse
It was lunch time. Sapnap was having a good day so far. Despite his lecture from Dream earlier that morning. Dream finally got the chance to check Sapnap over and make sure no real physical damage was done.
He got a few pokes to the ribs and was told off for not icing the bruises, although Sapnap couldn't have done that even if he wanted to.
Sapnap sat down at his usual spot for lunch, waiting for Dream to arrive with food for both himself and Sapnap. He would probably arrive with George too. So he was sat alone in the busy canteen, watching all the other students chatting loudly with friends.
He caught sight of Karl and Quackity sitting together. The two were folded over in laughter both struggling for air. They got many looks from concerned students but they didn't look like they had a care in the world.
This brought a smile to Sapnap's face, seeing his new friend and his best friend laughing. He was interrupted by a tray being dropped in front of him. It was Dream, along with George. What a surprise. They sat across from Sapnap blocking his view of the other two boys.
"Staring at your crush, huh?" Dream smiled at Sapnap, turning around to look at Karl and Quackity. "What?! Dream oh my god! Don't worry the only one who has my heart is you~" The two burst into laughter, George only folding his arms huffing and looking away.
Sapnap was struggling to breathe. "Don't worry George I'm not taking your boyfriend" George's head snapped towards Sapnap with a shocked expression. Sapnap erupted into giggles, while Dream wheezed so hard Sapnap was surprised his lungs didn't burst.
George's face a pink tint to it from the comment. "Wh-" George couldn't even start his sentence without being interrupted by Dream laughing again. Sapnap's head was on the table at this point, hands wrapped around his stomach as he continued to laugh.
"How'd you know" The laughter stopped, Sapnap's head shot up to George his mouth wide open. Dream was also looking at George with the same expression. Now it was George's turn to laugh. He couldn't control himself, every time he looked up at their faces he would laugh even harder.
Sapnap waited for his last class to roll to an end. The teacher was blabbering on about homework, Sapnap had already written the homework down. The teacher was just explaining the homework but Sapnap already knew how to do the problems.
The final bell sounded throughout the school, pulling all classes to an end. Sapnap made his way to his locker, gathering the few books he needed. He had completed most of the work already, unsure of how much time he would spend at Karl's house.
He had made his way through the crowds of people, pushing his way towards the exit door. Fresh air hit his face and the sound of birds filled his senses. He had agreed to meet Karl at a tree near the school. But he had to tell Dream that he didn't need a lift, his lunch was too eventful to tell him then.
He was still unsure if George was telling the truth or not, they flirted a lot and the way Dream looked at George was not the way you would look at a 'friend'. He spotted Dream over near his jeep. Sapnap made his way over, walking at a quick pace.
His body was filled with anxiety, worried about what will happen at Karl's house later. "D-Dream?" Dream turned around facing Sapnap and hit him with one of his signature 'hi!'s. "I won't need a lift today. I'm uh, going to tell Karl about things. I think I'm ready" Sapnap didn't make eye contact with Dream, instead he looked at his feet, awaiting a reply.
