A fearless warrior

Emily woke up earlier that she usually would, not having set an alarm for herself. The boys all left quite early as well. Emily had no idea what the boys were doing today business wise, but she wasn't the type to pry into their business. Surely the boys are just in a boring meeting or something anyway. The kitchen was surprisingly clean when Emily stepped into it, so she decided to just enjoy a quick bagel before going to pick up Jin's parcel. She wasn't the energetic type, especially in the mornings, but she couldn't help how excited she felt to go for a walk through Rome. To top it all off, the rain from the previous night had paused, allowing the sun to light up most of the sky.

The air was cool outside but the sun was shining ever so brightly. Emily followed the directions that Jin had given her, written down on a small slip of paper to ensure that she wouldn't get lost. Nearly fifteen minutes later Emily arrived at a small storefront. The shop was very small and honestly old looking too. She was super curious now as to what Jin could've bought Namjoon at a place like this. As she walked inside the shop the interior was no surprise, several short book shelves lined the small shop. The shelves seemed to be filled with nothing more than old books and what looked like antique Italian wood carvings. The store definitely wasn't the average tourist location. Emily was curious about how Jin had found this place.

"Hello, I'm here to pick up a package for Kim Seok Jin". Emily smiled at the man behind the counter, praying he spoke english.

"Okay, I will go grab it for you". The man walked into a door that was behind the counter, and soon came back with a medium sized package with 'JIN' written across the top. The man was intimidating to say the least. He was very tall and muscular, not to mention he was covered with tattoos.

Emily started making her way back to the house, but it was still quite early in the day, so she decided to take her time walking. She just wanted to take in the fresh atmosphere around her. She turned a corner onto a small street, not far from the house. As Emily looked around at the small stores and houses that lined the street she saw something very unexpected. Crossing the street about 5 yards in front of her was Yoongi and a woman. The two were laughing as they walked, and soon they were out of Emily's sight. I thought Jin said that all the boys would be busy with work today? What is Yoongi doing? Who is that girl? Emily couldn't help but be sad, disappointed even, at the thought of her best friend lying to her. She continued her journey back to the house, desperately trying to distract herself from the questions that plagued her, by thinking of as many random unimportant things as she could. Once home Emily decided to just lay upon her and Tae's shared bed, staring toward the ceiling deep in her own thoughts.

It didn't seem long at all before Emily heard the boys enter the house. Jin quickly ran into the house in search of Emily and once he found her, he knew something was off.

"Hey Em, what's wrong?" Jin asked. Emily stood up and faced Jin.

"Where were you guys today? I know you lied about working," Emily questioned. Jin was shocked at Emily's outburst, she had never been angry with him before and he honestly found it a little scary. Before Jin could compose his words she pushed past him and made her way into the living room where the rest of the members hopefully were. Emily could hear Jin calling her name as he quickly tried catching up to her. Instead of waiting for her she put her attention toward Yoongi who was standing next to the mystery girl she saw earlier. Yoongi instantly knew something was off and was genuinely confused by Emily's angry stance. "Where were you today?" She asked him, looking for the truth from someone.

"We were on a mission! You don't have to worry though, I'm one of the best combat fighters in the mafia, and I'll make sure to protect Yoongi and the boys! You must be Emily, my name is Lauren." The woman spoke to Emily enthusiastically. Emily was stuck on the woman's words, frozen in her place, trying to process what she had said.

"What are you talking about?! What mafia?" Emily replied to Lauren, but before she could get an answer, a very angry Namjoon stepped in.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Namjoon spoke to Lauren quietly in a low voice. Emily was very surprised, she had seen an angry Namjoon before, however he was more than angry right now, he was furious.

Emily expected Lauren to apologize to the very intimidating Namjoon, however she couldn't have been more wrong. Lauren wasn't apologetic at all, instead, she matched Namjoons energy, and they each looked equally furious.

"She doesn't know? Why wouldn't you tell her?!" Namjoon wasn't impressed by Lauren's behaviour whatsoever. Emily had no idea how to handle the situation, actually Emily had never seen someone yell at Namjoon before, usually whatever he says goes.

"It doesn't matter now, we have to kill her now because she knows." Namjoon said casually, turning his back to the two girls and going back to his seat on the couch. Though this situation was far from over.

"She has a right to know, I can't believe you guys would keep this from her!" Lauren walked right up to Namjoon as he sat on the couch, standing her ground, "And she is not going to be killed." Laurens slapped Namjoon in the face so quickly that Emily couldn't even comprehend it. Emily was in utter shock, did this woman have a death wish? Not only that but why was she protecting her? Emily was very thankful but she was still surprised. They didn't even know each other. Without another word Namjoon stood up calmly and walked out of the room.

Lauren stood with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face, and she snickered,

"Oh no, Daddy's angry."
