A not so normal day

Lauren's day had started out like any other regular day of her life. The day prior, new missions were handed out amongst the group. Lauren and Yoongi were put on a mission together to keep an eye on a specific gang in town. Waking up earlier than usual was how Lauren had to start her day, but being a morning person, she wasn't the least bit bothered. Last night she had sat down with Yoongi and created a written schedule of their day. Lauren enjoyed living a structured life, and she never liked the feeling of not knowing what was next. Also, if she hadn't made a set plan and time, who knows when Yoongi would wake up, he always seemed to be sleeping.

Lauren got ready and made her way to the gym room. Although a workout this morning wasn't necessary, Lauren always felt a sense of calmness wash over as she practiced her combat skills. It was almost meditative for her, it filled her with joy and a feeling of accomplishment. The house was completely silent, as it was only minutes past six in the morning. Lauren had planned to be ready to leave the house with Yoongi at nine o'clock, but she wasn't sure if Yoongi would even be ready. She was hopeful though. The gym room was quiet and clean, filled with dark equipment and white walls. Lauren was content with the quietness, ready to be able to drown her thoughts with working out in peace. Apart from training, she focused on the mission she was to go on today, and ran through their schedule in her head.

The group was told yesterday about a possible alliance forming with a new gang in town. They called themselves Ambition, and their leader was the man with the goatee who was over before. He had come over to discuss forming an alliance with the italian mafia to take down the leader of the German mafia. It took awhile, but under careful consideration, the entire group decided to investigate more into the group before coming to a final decision.

Lauren and Yoongi had received the mission of keeping an eye on the Ambition gang. Therefore, the two were going out to spy on the members and their routines for the day.

Lauren made her way out of her room as the time was soon approaching nine. There was no sign of Yoongi being awake so Lauren felt as though it was her duty to bother him enough until he woke up. The house was fairly busy at this point of day, people and movement could be heard from both the kitchen and living room. She had no hope that Yoongi had even gotten out of bed yet so she knocked on his bedroom door. When she received no answer from inside the room she quickly pushed the door open, regretting the action as soon as she had done it. Hoseok was with Yoongi in bed, on top of him actually, and they were intensely making out until Yoongi jumped from the sound Lauren clearing her throat. Lauren just smirked and shook her head at him, closing the door and making sure that no one else was about to enter. Lauren walked toward the living room, preparing to wait for Yoongi. However, it was a short wait as it wasn't long before Yoongi came running after Lauren.

"Are you ready to go into town?" Lauren asked, making sure not to look at a very flustered Yoongi. Yoongi straightened his jacket as he and Lauren made their way out the front of the house. It was a few minutes before either of them spoke again, Yoongi not knowing what to say, and Lauren not wanting to ruin the silence.

"So what's the plan for the day? What's next on the schedule?" Yoongi asked, he was still a bit embarrassed over the situation, however he just wanted to avoid the topic altogether. Lauren stopped walking and looked at Yoongi with a smirk.

"Well I'm not really sure now. I didn't know having sex with Hosoek was the first thing on the list." Lauren laughed at Yoongi as a strong blush flushed his cheeks. Shaking her head at her helpless friend, Lauren continued walking towards the car with Yoongi close behind her.

The two mafia members were given a house address along with instruction from the group. It was Lauren and Yoongi's job to spy on the members of the gang without being seen or recognized. Lauren, who was driving, parked the car down the street from the house they were to be watching. Yoongi took off his seatbelt and got comfortable in his seat.

"So how long do you think this is going to take?" Yoongi asks Lauren in curiosity.

"I don't know, however long it takes I guess. We can talk though, right? While we wait?" Lauren responded to her friend. Yoongi looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "You and Hoseok huh?" Lauren said, smirking toward Yoongi. All Yoongi could do was roll his eyes at her words. He knew that Lauren was bound to bring the topic up eventually. Having seen him and Hoseok during such an intimate moment, Yoongi thought Lauren deserved an explanation. After all, she was his best friend.

"Hobi and I have been fooling around a lot lately but nothing is official. I don't even know if he wants to ask me to be his boyfriend, but I'm too scared to ask him," Yoongi said, explaining to the best of his ability what is going on. He wasn't anxious at all with telling this all to Lauren, but he was a little embarrassed to admit that he was scared. Lauren was completely open to this information, and she was happy for Yoongi. However, before she could further the conversation, a tall man left the house that they were watching. The two quietly exited the car and followed after the man at a far enough distance to keep him from noticing them. They followed the tall man into town, and within a few minutes the man stopped walking and entered a store. Lauren looked questioningly toward Yoongi before leading the way toward the small store. Their goal was to peek inside the store, not to go inside and cause any problems. Lauren and Yoongi walked in sync at a slow but reasonable pace. As the two passed the shop, now recognized as a small bookstore, they were both slightly shocked. Inside the store was a smiling Chloe talking to the tall man.
