Keeping quiet

So far the stay at the mafia house has been nothing but amazing. The boys did work a lot, however most of the time they worked from home, so Emily wasn't lonely all day. Plus there were so many things in the house to keep herself occupied. Her recent discovery was the gym room where she often watched Taehyung workout. Apart from that, there were many different types of rooms and things she could explore if she was ever bored. Today was the first day in a while that everyone had free time at night to hang out together, so the group decided, prior to the actual night, to have a movie marathon. While Emily was preparing a small snack buffet for the movie, a giggling Yoongi and Hoseok came into the kitchen to find Emily. "Emily! We have all finished our work for the day!" Hoseok said, excited to finally have some free time with his friends. The three of them left the kitchen to the living room where everyone was sitting on the large couch, and Emily happily sat in the open space between Lauren and Taehyung. Hoseok then quickly put on the first Harry Potter movie before sitting beside Yoongi; he was eager and excited to start off their movie marathon.

By the time the group was on their third movie, some people were getting tired. Yoongi was just about to pass out on Hoseok's shoulder when suddenly a loud bang was heard from outside. "What was that?!" Emily jumped at the sound and everyone else got up from the couch. Taehyung was quick to move, grabbing Emily's hand and taking her to their shared room. "We need to stay quiet! Let's sit in the closet." Taehyung suggested. His mind was racing not knowing for sure what the sound even was, either way he hated himself for ever getting Emily near any danger. Emily sat across from Taehyung in their large walk-in closet, she was shaken up but she kept her hand over her mouth so she wouldn't make any noise. Emily also wasn't completely sure what the sound was, however the sound was so loud anyone could guess what it was.

Meanwhile the boys were downstairs in high defence mode; the sound was an obvious gun shot from the front yard. Lauren and Yoongi were the first to jump into action, both having had specialized combat training. There was soon word from guards outside that there were five men outside ready to invade. No one had been reported hurt; fortunately for them, the invaders were not highly armed, and this was going to be an easy fight. As Lauren and Yoongi made their defence at the front of the house, Jeongguk, being trained in almost every position, made his way to the back of the house for defense. Guards were soon to report that the man who had made the shot had been taken out. There was a man approaching the back left of the house so Jeongguk approached him, ready to fight as well as he could in these circumstances. Jeongguk had no weapons on him, but the man approaching didn't look like he had any either. Unfortunately this was not the case. The man was quick with his actions, undeniably good at attacking. Within seconds the man threw a knife directly at Jeongguk. Jeongguk was quick to dodge it but it grazed his cheek. He felt dumb for doubting him, but it wasn't like he hadn't experienced danger like this before. Within a blink of an eye Namjoon had caught the knife that was thrown in mid air, throwing it back at the man rapidly. The man fell to the ground as the knife pierced deep into his shoulder. Jeongguk looked back to Namjoon, who he didn't even know was behind him, and grinned.

Emily was terrified to say the least. This was the first scary and life threatening situation she had been in since living with them, and she couldn't help but think that it wasn't going to be the last. However, she was strong and she knew her friends were good at what they did, she just hoped that no one was hurt. Taehyung watched Emily intensely, as they were both deep in their own thoughts.

"I think we can go now. We should check on everyone." Taehyung stood up offering Emily his hand. She was wary to get up, scared to see what state her friends could be in, but she felt too anxious to be alone. The house had been quiet for a few minutes now, Emily was just hoping that was a good sign. Taehyung turned every corner, gun in hand, making sure the house was safe while keeping Emily close behind him. Once they arrived in the main living room, Emily couldn't help but gasp at the state of things; the house was now a mess. All the members of the gang stood in the kitchen around the centre island. All of them were beaten and bruised but the most serious injuries were on Jeongguk and Namjoon. Jeongguk had a large cut across his cheek that was bleeding, and Namjoon's palm was cut open.

"Do you have a first aid kit, or anything medical handy? I can help fix their wounds." Emily spoke to Taehyung who looked to Jin for the answer. Jin nodded and went to go get the little supplies they had.

As Jin came back into the room Namjoon rolled his eyes, "No offense Emily, but I doubt you could do any good, you don't know anything about this kind of stuff". His stare was cold, and it was evident in his eyes that he was angry and annoyed.

"Shut the fuck up and sit down!" Lauren exclaimed, smacking Namjoon in the head. Emily grinned at Lauren before proceeding to bandage the two boys up. For being in the mafia, they really didn't have much supplies to work with. However Emily made do with the supplies she had, proving to Namjoon that she actually knew what she was doing.
