TWENTY THREE

Movie nights and sleepovers

It was now night and everyone had just finished eating dinner. Whilst half of the group was cleaning the kitchen the other half we're in the living room setting up for a big movie night. The Ambition gang we're going to stay over for another night but this night they're going to have a huge movie night with lots of snacks. Everyone was quite excited for the movie plans, and it really helped to bring the energy in the house up from the meeting earlier. Also, it was nice to have some fun down time with everyone involved. The Ambition gang had only been around for two days now and there were already some great friendships forming. Jeongguk and Ash Island were really close, but a lot of people could have seen that coming considering they're both talented in many ways and they both love competition. Therefore, those two had been spending most of their time being crazy active and competing with each other. Another unique friendship that has formed is Hyo-Eun and Jimin. This friendship had caught everyone else off guard but in a way their friendship works really well. Jimin is usually very excited and he loves to talk about everything and anything, and on the other hand Hyo-Eun was a lot more laid-back and quiet. Most of the time he just sat there and listened to whatever Jimin was saying, but even if he wasn't the most talkative person Jimin had enjoyed his company. Lauren and The Quiett had also been spending more time with each other, but not many of the others had realized this since everyone else was busy, but Yoongi knew something was up. Everyone had made themselves comfortable in the living room. Chloe, Emily and Lauren we're in the kitchen preparing popcorn and snacks for the rest of the members.They were making so much food, but all these boys ate a lot so they knew it would get eaten. After finishing collecting all the snacks for the movie, the three girls made their way back to the living room. Emily ran in front of the two and sat next to Taehyung who put his arm around her immediately. Then Lauren hesitantly made her way to sit between The Quiett and Yoongi. Lastly, Chloe was standing in the doorway looking at everyone and the only place left on the couch was next to Namjoon, so doing the rational thing she always does, Chloe decided to sit on the floor in front of Changmo instead of sitting next to Namjoon. Emily sighed loudly and rolled her eyes.

"Come on guys, why don't you just date already?" Emily spoke up. The two had been avoiding each other all day starting this morning after Namjoon ran out of the living room. Chloe could just sense the awkwardness that he was admitting and she found it very obvious that he was not wanting to talk to her so she just let it be. Everyone in the room laughed at Emily's comment making the situation light-hearted however, as always, Namjoon was angry and annoyed. Chloe just looked down at her hands as her cheeks flushed, she always hated being the centre of attention. Everyone waited for the room to die down it's laughter before Jimin jumped up to play the movie. The group just threw on a random mystery murder movies that was playing on TV, since no one could agree on a movie to watch.

It was now two hours later in the movie night had come to stop merely forty minutes ago. All the members we're sprawled out around the living room sleeping softly. However, Namjoon lay awake staring at the ceiling pondering over his own thoughts. A lot was about to change. All he could hope is that the change was going to be good. Right now he felt confident and he genuinely felt as though he wanted everyone around him to stay safe. As he thought about his friends his thoughts soon came to Chloe. As he thought about her he looked over and to his surprise she also lay awake staring up at the ceiling.

"Hey!" Namjoon whispered while looking at her. He wasn't very far from her; somehow they had found their way beside each other again. Chloe quickly looked over in surprise not knowing that anyone else was awake but her and once she noticed it was Namjoon who was talking to her she was in even more of a shock. She furrowed her eyebrows together before beginning to whisper quietly.

"What?" She spoke quietly. Namjoon smiled, her voice was angelic, barely whispering. She spoke with softness and nothing but kindness in her voice. Namjoon smiled at her and made his way closer to her. He moved his body to lay on his side propping his head up with his elbow. Now at this moment, looking at Chloe with all the soft snores in the background he just wanted to tell her how he felt. He wasn't scared, as he was scared before, for some reason the environment and the timing just felt right with the upcoming fight he wanted to keep her as close as possible.

"You know you can be so fucking annoying sometimes, but I think I'm falling in love with you."
