Jake sees Lia, Drew and Stacy in-front of Him. He didn't know what to do..He can't tell Drew he ditched him of the music club and made an lame excuse that he was grounded that same day! Suddenly an half bad idea popped up in mind, he can't afford to think of anything else..So he pins Hailey to the wall wishing they won't catch him, he stares at Hailey eye to eye. Hailey was blushing across her peach skin toned face.., he couldn't help the slightly blush too at Hailey's adorable tomato face. "Ahem, Jake I thought you were grounded not on a date with that freak!" Drew was standing in-front of them crossing his arms while Stacy and Lia was behind staring in shock while Stacy was taking pictures. Suddenly Jake got out of that awkward position and tried to explain from the heart

   "Look Drew, I'm not going on a date or even dating Hailey I'm with the music club.., and we're finding Sean's computer and I'm sorry that I'm in the mall right now but I needed to do rehearsal and then Hailey's mom asked us if we wanted to go to the mall and I couldn't say no!" Jake says with major hand movements and he could tell Drew was not buying it "Ugh Jake,why do you do this..Look at least tell me this do you like our group more than the music club" Drew asked he could see the expression on Jakes face like he was hesitant. "Bye.., let's go." Drew waves off and goes to the distance

That was all he saw of his 'friends' instead of catching glances at the cafeteria for months as he sat with the music club..  he hoped he didn't pick the bad option.
