"come in!"

i opened the dressing room door to see josh and tyler, dressed and completely ready. there was only ten minutes until the show started.

tyler was wearing a white muscle shirt that showed his tattoos. he was also wearing a pair of black jeans and he had a black ski mask in his hand. he looked..hot.

he noticed i was staring and decided to tease me.

"enjoying the view?" he teased. i blushed. i was looking for something to say before josh chimed in.

"don't be a hypocrite, ty. i've seen you look at her too." josh said. tyler then blushed.

"come on guys, i was supposed to tell you that you guys had ten minutes left until show time. it's only a matter of time before mark-"

"five minutes until show time." mark came in and interrupted.

"see." i said, motioning towards mark.

"yeah, we'll be out soon. you should go find a place up front in the crowd."

i turned to leave before i turned back around and gave tyler a quick kiss on the cheek.

"good luck." i said.

i left tyler and josh's dressing room and went onto the stage. i jumped off, and stood with everyone else. there had to be about 400-500 people. it was a good crowd, for sure.

i stood close to the stage. my excitement level was rising more and more. i was extremely excited to hear them perform.

just then, an eerie voice that sent chills down my spine began playing over the loud speakers.

time stands still
there's a metaphor in hand
a metaphoric blast that only few will understand
under clothes, under skin, underneath we're all the same
for when you remove the tricky tricks
only skeleton bones remain

although both tyler and josh had told me about the opening to their shows, the voice was still bone chilling.

seconds after, the beginning of guns for hands began. the curtains then opened, revealing tyler and josh.

"i know what you think in the morning.."

the crowd began jumping up and down so i went along with it. tyler ran around the stage, occasionally jumping on things. seeing him, so energetic and happy, made me smile.

at one point in guns for hands, tyler went up to josh and pointed his hand (which was making a finger gun) at josh's head while singing "don't take it, take it, take it!"

after guns for hands, they performed a few of there other songs. it was kitchen sink, fall away, lovely, ode to sleep, clear, the pantaloon, taxi cab, slowtown, and eventually (one of my personal favorites) trees.

tyler never told me how emotional it was for him to perform trees. as he played it, he was crying. it resulted in myself tearing up as well.

towards the end of the song, josh and tyler set up drums by the pits. intrigued, i watched as they set them up. only a minute later, i found out what they were for.

as tyler beat his drum and josh beat his, confetti flew everywhere. it was truly magical.

i caught some of the confetti and shoved it in my pockets. i wanted to save some as a memory for my first show.

after the boys finished trees, they stood on the stage, wrapped their arms on each other's shoulders, and bowed.

"we're twenty one pilots, and so are you."

they went backstage and everyone began buzzing. i got on the stage and headed back with them. i received a few odd looks, but i knew people just didn't realize that i was with the band.

"you guys did great!" i told the boys when i made it backstage. they were grabbing water bottles and drinking them one by one. i didn't blame them, considering they were very sweaty.

"yeah you guys put on a great show." mark added, clapping tyler on the back. tyler smiled.

"i got some great pictures." brad said.

"thanks, guys." tyler thanked us.

"yeah, the crowd seemed to think we did okay." josh said. i shook my head.

"you guys didn't do okay, you did really good. that was probably the best concert i've been to." i insisted. i saw tyler blush, which of course, made me blush.

"josh and i should probably get changed so we can get on the tour bus. our next show is tomorrow and it's hours away." tyler announced. he and josh then headed into the dressing room to change, leaving mark, brad and i waiting.

"fun, wasn't it?" mark asked, starting conversation. i nodded.

"yeah. i loved it." i replied.

"in my opinion, that was one of tyler's best shows. because you're here, no doubt."

"nah, i couldn't have much of an effect on his performance."

"i'm being serious. your presence makes tyler perform better."

i smiled and looked at the ground. i found it hard to believe that me being around made tyler perform better. i was just his girlfriend, after all.

after a few moments, tyler and josh came out of the dressing room.

"ready to head back to the bus?" tyler asked. mark, brad, and i nodded and we all headed to the bus.

it only took us about ten minutes to walk back to the bus. we could've made it there quicker but tyler and josh were messing around.

once we made it, we all headed to our bunks. it was about 11 pm and we had to be up early.

tyler and i layed side by side on our bunk. it was comfortable, being close to him and sharing his warmth. so i took advantage and nuzzled up close to his chest. he didn't seem to mind.

"(y/n)?" tyler said, sleepily.

"yes, tyler?" i replied.

"i'm glad you're here."

"me too, tyler."

"goodnight."

"goodnight." i said, before slowly drifting off to sleep.
