"vessel is released in 3.."

"yay!!" we all cheered as the clock hit 6pm and the new album vessel was released. this was a huge milestone for the boys- their first album after being signed to fueled by ramen.

"i'm so proud of you guys!" i told the boys.

"thanks, (y/n)." josh said to me.

"yes, thanks gorgeous." tyler replied, pulling me into a kiss. josh didn't tease us for showing affection like he used to. he had started dating an actress named debby. i had met her once and she was a total sweetheart.

"okay, don't laugh at me but.." i started. "i made skeleton cookies."

mark, tyler, and josh all laughed. not at me, but at the irony. i shook my head.

"come on guys, it's actually kinda cute." tyler said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"yeah not to mention, i can make it so you guys can't eat them." i added, jokingly. josh clapped a hand to his chest.

"NOOO. the idea is so cute!!" he said. i giggled.

i grabbed the box of skeleton cookies and we all passed them around. right as i went to take my first bite, my phone dinged.

jesse: hey. what are you up to today?

you: a lot, actually. i'm having a party with tyler and josh because they just released an album today.

jesse: oh, neat. tell them i said congrats. have fun!

you: thanks, jess.

"who was that?" tyler asked me.

"jesse. he was just wondering what i was doing today. but, i told him i had plans with you guys." i informed him. his light expression darkened slightly which made me feel bad. tyler didn't like jesse- even after meeting him. he was convinced that jesse had feelings for me. but jesse knew that we were only ever going to be friends because i loved tyler. and tyler knew that as well.

"you could have invited him." josh told me. i shook my head. josh didn't know that tyler disliked jesse. he only knew that jesse was my best friend.

"nah, it's good. i just want to spend time with you guys like we did on tour. i miss tour." i replied. josh nodded understandingly.

"we'll be back on tour sooner or later." mark said.

"if i'm invited i'll obviously go." i told them all. tyler wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"you think i'm just going to be apart from you for months? not on my watch." he told me, kissed my cheek.

"gross. no pda." josh joked. i playfully rolled my eyes.

"and you don't want this with debby?" i asked.

"now wait- i never said that."

we all chuckled and decided to go sit in the living room.

"mario kart?" tyler suggested. we all nodded in agreement and tyler set up the wii u so that the four of us could play.

"oh shit-" i immediately got up and ran to the nearest trash can. i threw up everything i had eaten and when i finished i turned around to see the boys staring at me. i chuckled slightly.

"must've been the cookie." i said, going into the refrigerator to get a bottle of water. i rinsed my mouth out before going to sit with the boys.

"you okay?" tyler asked me. i nodded.

"yeah, i probably messed something up in the cookies. if you guys get sick, i'm sorry." i said, grabbing my controller.

"i'm feeling great, actually. i don't know about you guys but i think those cookies were swag." josh told us. i found myself in a small fit of laughter. josh always liked the food i made.

"'swag' eh?" i questioned.

"yup." he replied. we all giggled a bit as tyler started the game.

i knew the boys had no chance of beating me, simply because when i played as toad- i was fast. really fast. but of course, tyler decided i had been playing unfair.

"nope. no way. you cheated." he said after i beat them.

"how exactly?" i asked. "ever thought that maybe i'm just unbeatable?"

"nope, you had to have cheated." mark agreed with tyler. josh also nodded.

"ugh, you guys are sore losers." i shook my head. tyler just wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

"you know i love you though." he told me. i playfully rolled my eyes.

"yeah, i know." i said. "i love you too."

"well, i've gotta go. ill talk to you guys soon." mark told us.

"yeah, same. i'm having debby over for dinner." josh chimed in.

"okay well, thanks for celebrating with us." tyler said.

"yeah, we have to get together and hang out more." i said. we all said goodbyes and josh and mark left. after they left i sat by the cd player and reached for vessel.

"so..vessel and fast food?" i suggested. tyler smiled.

"you're too good to be true."
