a/n: look at them! so pretty.

one week later

trimester: 2 (week 15)

"i'm so bored. i'm even getting tired of eating." i told tyler. we had one week left until tour, so we had been spending as much alone time together as possible.

"well..wanna go for a drive?" he suggested. it was march and spring was finally springing. spring was my favorite season. everything was becoming so green as the snow melted.

"sure! i'd love too." i agreed. "but first, i'm getting on a bra."

"fair." he replied.

i went into the closet and grabbed a bra. i looked in the mirror and placed my hands on my stomach. the bump was growing quickly. i knew i was going to be huge.

i put my bra on and slipped my sneakers on. i pulled my hair into a messy bun, not wanting to deal with it.

"ready?" i asked tyler. he nodded and we headed out to the car.

as soon as we got in the car, i claimed the aux. although tyler and i listened to mostly the same music, i was more likely to play his stuff. he didn't want to seem self absorbed. but i knew he was far from that.

i turned on holding on to you and tyler began to pull out of our driveway.

"so.." i started.

"what's up, buttercup?" tyler asked. i smiled.

"baby names." i said.

"i thought we decided this. we're naming one of the boys joseph joseph." i swatted tyler's arm playfully.

"tyler, no. the poor kid will never live it down. kids are assholes to other kids."

"yeah, i know."

"i actually had an idea for the girl's name."

"oh yeah?"

"jenna."

"uhm..i'm not sure we should do that."

"you don't like it?" i asked, feeling slightly hurt. i thought jenna was a beautiful name.

"no it's just..my ex was named jenna. well, we didn't date but we we a bit more than friends." tyler told me. i mouthed an 'oh' and that pretty much killed our conversation.

after a few moments, taxi cab started playing and i turned the music up loudly. it was always one of my favorite songs. tyler chuckled as he watched me sing the song.

"something tells me you like taxi?" he questioned. i giggled.

"was it me singing it now or was it me turning it up loudly everytime it plays?" i asked.

"hey i'm no judge. i obviously like it too, considering i wrote it."

"what's your favorite song off twenty one pilots? the album, i mean."

"friend, please."

"ouch."

"no respect for that soul torturing-yet beautiful-song?" tyler teased. i shook my head.

"it's great...except my emotions think otherwise." i told him. he nodded understandingly.

we drove some more. we were silent but it wasn't an awkward silence. more of a peaceful silence. we were enjoying our car ride.

i stared out the window. tyler was driving quickly, so it was simply a blur of white and green. i liked it.

"i love you, tyler." i told my boyfriend. he smiled.

"i love you too, (y/n)." he replied.

"so so much." i added, quietly.

"can i be honest with you?"

"always."

"i'm glad things worked out the way they did. i know we're still young and we're not married but, i'm glad we're having our three little musketeers."

i smiled at tyler's little nickname for the triplets. it was adorable.

"i'm glad things went this way too. i wouldn't even want it any other way, honestly."

we continued driving and making small talk. eventually, it started to get dark so tyler turned around.

tyler and i made it almost home when everything turned upside down.

we stopped at a red light just outside columbus, when a black van came speeding towards us.

*crash* *bang*
